I hope it is cool. To me it looks a bit lame from the advertisement, but I'll still go watch it. The turn-offs thus far are:
- The video game look of it - The "I am Beowulf" pronouncement, which seems like the Sparta yell in 300

Ah Acoustic... Comeon man! Where is your sense of petty indulgence? Lol!Well, I am not expecting anything big out of the retelling of the mythic tale itself but I am so willing to see it just to get a glimpse of how things are comming along in the CG department. And Angelina Jolie as Grendle... Well... That should be interesting LOL! IP: Logged |

ok, I will admit, maybe I was overly excited because I have never been to a 3D movies before. But I think the story as a teaching tool is not bad at all.maybe not for the wise in here but it can make some people think about the consequences of their actions IP: Logged |

Crispin Glover plays Grendel. Angelina Jolie plays Grendel's mother. One of my best friends is Angelina-central and he is *so* disappointed that she used a body double in this. I'm tempted to see it because Neil Gaiman cowrote the script, which veers pretty far from the original story. They need to do a movie version of John Gardner's Grendel! IP: Logged |

I just saw the movie (35mm) and loved it. The turn offs that AG posted is true but then u get adjusted to the animation. I feel very connected to scandinavian culture a lot. One of my family like friend in this life is a swede For a reason perhaps.

Millions of college freshmen are rejoicing that there is now a movie.Having an oddly animated Angelina Jolie is just icing on the cake. MK
