IsTaurus IshTaurean IshTaureana AsTaureana AshTaureana AsTaurus AshTaurus STaurus STaureana Trying to play off blends of goddesses and Taurus/Taurean and Star. ASTAR/ASTER= a star Ashtar, Ashtar-vidya (Sanskrit) [possibly from astra weapon, missile + vidya knowledge] Used by Blavatsky for "the highest magical knowledge" (SD 2:427). Astra-vidya, the science of warfare, when transferred in usage to the everlasting struggle of the adepts of the right-hand with those of the left, would take the significance not so much of the science of missiles or weapons, but that of high and powerful magic forces. "The most ancient of the Hindu works on Magic. Though there is a claim that the entire work is in the hands of some Occultists, yet the Orientalists deem it lost. A very few fragments of it are now extant, and even these are very much disfigured" (TG 35). Astarte (Greek) Greek form of the Syro-Phoenician goddess Ashtoreth, female counterpart of Baal. The goddess of love and fruitfulness, she was essentially a lunar goddess of productiveness or fertility. The Assyrian and Babylonian form was Ishtar, in Syria Atargates, in Phrygia Cybele, in the Bible Ashtoreth, and in North Africa Tanith or Dido. She was intimately connected in the Chaldean form of her worship with the planet Venus. She corresponds to the Egyptian Isis or Hathor, Greek Aphrodite, and Norse Freya. The Virgin Mary represented on the crescent moon weeping, is taken from similar images of Astarte (BCW 11:96-7). See also ASTORETH. Aster't (Syrian) Goddess of the moon, consort of Adon, one of the most important divinities of Syria, corresponding closely to the Jewish Adonai. When I tried to register it that way, i couldnt and it reminded me that i had thought of this name and wanted to change it to that once before. I dont know the email addy i used for it now, so i would have to use a lowercase "s" or something else)starling? *Starling? or star*ling? MM, if I decide to stick with I'ris, it's all yours.

hehe, no I was joking that him even identifying himself with astrology was his idea of living on the edge. My buddy is as down to earth as any man has the right to be. But I kept him all of these years... Ok, look at this video. Does anyone else see what I saw immediately that these grumpy folk can't see? http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-6815781973393100875 Also, I love watching these birds. There is a corn field beyond my window here and I got to see them in action not too long ago. It was amazing.

MysticMelody! Some music melody song goddesses for you! http://www.theoi.com/Ouranios/Mousai.html THE MOUSAI were the goddesses of music, song and dance, and the source of inspiration to poets. They were also goddesses of knowledge, who remembered all things that had come to pass. Later the Mousai were assigned specific artistic spheres: Kalliope, epic poetry; Kleio, history; Ourania, astronomy; Thaleia, comedy; Melpomene, tragedy; Polyhymnia, religious hymns; Erato, erotic poetry; Euterpe, lyric poetry; and Terpsikhore, choral song and dance. In ancient Greek vase painting the Mousai were depicted as beautiful young women with a variety of musical intruments. In later art each of the nine was assigned her own distinctive attribute. No I have not Lexigrammmed Starling. Should I? IP: Logged |

I'll tell ya, AG, but I think 26T might see it, so I am waiting. OH NO! "THE UNSTOPPABLE STARLING Some people love them. Some people hate them. But you can't stop them. Personally, we try to discourage them (they're invasive to North America, and will often kill other birds in our yard, apparently for no reason)." IP: Logged |

Melpomenehey! That's me! Wellllllll... since they may be ruthless killers, that might put a damper on their magical majesty, so you can hold off on the lexi for now... or maybe you should still do it so we can gain more insight. If it isn't too much trouble. Oh! Me too! Me too!

lmao Yes, well.. I remember reading something once about how "ruthless" and "vulgar"; what a nuisance those birds can be, but i pushed that image into the back of my mind (which was easy after seeing some close-ups of them) and was hoping none of you would bring it up. ;p And seriously who doesnt have their ruthless and vulgar days every so often? I know my Mars/Uranus square have been capable of them. j/k MM, it looked like there was a rainbow in the background....in the cloud? Was that it?!! You know what's funny? The other day I went up the road to catch some picks of the sunset and there happened to be a HUGE flock of birds - somewhat similar to the one in the video (but not *quite* so many) - flying around over head. I caught a couple of picks of them soaring above me (feeling VERY vulnerable) but i think i've deleted them as i thought they were a little boring. I'll check... I'm taking it as a "sign" that maybe starling is the right name. lol I asked myself "why do birds suddenly appear....?" because seriously, they do. Havent done any numerology or lexigramming of these yet... just registered Starling*26 - great idea!! Ty! IP: Logged |

Well, what I saw was that the two trees bent and looked like the wings of a huge bird (flapping up and down). I thought the birds were offering a message. Well, how do those people know that the killing is for no reason? For all we know the starlings are stealth force for the destruction of other birds who are plotting to take over the world mwahahahhahaaaaaaa. Maybe they are killing birdie Hitlers or something. Maybe the other birds looked at them wrong or something. Starlings... the misunderstood rebels of the bird world... I think I'm in love... hehe Fine, roll your eyes, AG... hehehehe IP: Logged |
