Without trust we remain disconnected from sources of sustenance and sources of love. Trust enables us to make connection in order to be able to love and to contribute to life. Whenever trust is present fear diminishes proportionately. Whenever fear is present we can be certain that we are lacking trust – an indication that we are experiencing through the personality rather than through soul. It is fear that sustains insecurity and thereby blocks trust.

Only a delusional fool would kiss a viper on the lips in blind trust that it will not be true to its nature.

Love thy enemies!
But don't be stupid and try to embrace them whilst looking down the barrel of their gun!

If you sleep with dogs you will get fleas.

Only an idiot would trust a wolf to guard the sheep.

It is sad. Are you speaking though of of their "perspective" truth or their
"absolute" truth?

I am not sure but I have the feeling they don't even know either, or the difference between them.
It is so easy to look through them but so hard not to be able to help.

It hurts to not be able to reach them and help.
The love is there for them but they do not understand. They rather stay safe in their cocoons of illusion. It is easier to simply not look, to stay inside of their houses of their self made realities than to see the world and possibilities of the real. Like not looking at the bum on the street, or the person crying for help.....it is easier for them to look away...and say..I am ok, you are ok, all is right in my world and go about their mundane little lives and dramas and pretend that is how it is for everyone.
Anything that falls outside of the neat little niches of their psyche, their routines, their mindset, is either bad bad bad, or does not exist in their reality.
And the lipspeak nicey niceies spoken but not understood, let alone lived by such folks..."All we need is love"...etcetera...
Pretty words but holding no substance or true understanding meaning and action. But they say it enough and erringly believe or hope it will make everything so.
Dream on...they live within their illusions/dreams, nightmares/dramas, but never really live and see anything.
Yes the Matrix is a very good hiding place for complacency, denial, delusion, illusion, desperate hope, apathy, biases and bigotries, ...etcetera...
Even though the follwing is a myth, it still exemplifies such mindsets:
quote:
At length I recollected the thoughtless saying of a great princess, who, on being informed that the country people had no bread, replied, "Then let them eat pastry!"
Ah yes...what was those silly folk's problem? I have cake after all, so they must also have it too!
Yeah...uh huh.....
And blue is for boys and pink is for girls...
Bah!
Go fly a kite.....
Rant over for now.

To tell the truth makes a person vulnerable.
Fool me once shame on you...fool me twice shame on you. I don't carry grudges, but I will not expose my back a second time

RANDOM THREAD BUMP!

------------------
“It’s an interesting thing. Seeing Kuan Yin relating to a flower so intently. She's not just looking at it; she's interacting with it…I’m seeing how the act of relating to a flower appears to be so simple. Yet, it takes a tremendous amount of courage to make such a “simple” act important. Now, the lotus is floating away.”
