Fayte,

Using the word "force" on my part may have been the wrong word to use. Sorry for that. I chose that word mainly because the way you expressed your opinions sounded a bit harsh to me under the circumstances.

However, I was not accusing you of anything. Just describing the overall tone. It also had nothing to do with my own personal beliefs about reincarnation. I stated that afterlife teachings are just concepts so even if I don't believe in reincarnation and hold my own "notions" about the afterlife, nothing regarding the afterlife is written in stone with me.

Please, do not tell me not to accuse you of motivations you don't have and then in the same breath accuse of me of motivations that I didn't have either.

I said what I felt. It seemed to me kind of harsh to say that about NAM's brother when he passed on not long ago in response to her sharing her own personal thoughts about reincarnation. You may not have meant it to sound harsh, if not, I apologize for the way I worded my thoughts. But I don't apologize for sharing my thoughts.

My concern in my post was not what you had to say about reincarnation but for NAM's feelings. I am happy that she said she was not offended by anyone.

Mirandee....
You confuse the heck out of me.

There is no "may"....I did NOT intend any harshness.

That is your perception not my intentions.

A better way to phrase that "apology", if you really meant, it would be to say instead...

"I realize I took offense where none was intended, and imagined a tone, I now realize you were not trying to be harsh. Sorry".

Big difference from the ambiguous "may".

However I accept what you deem as an apology even though it appears ambiguous.
