I don`t care if you enjoy your dramatics, the blog tests or believe I am an addition to the lynch mob. I happen to agree with the excess AND for the reasons CLEARLY stated.

It has nothing to do with fayte.m the person. Please learn to distinguish that a word against a belief or deed is NOT an attack on the person. Perhaps then the need for drama would diminish and a decent conversation could occur.

I apologize for being a blog fiend poster.
I got carried away and naively in my having fun with them did not think there was any problem starting quiz threads.

But that does not mean I deserve to be trashed and gone at over and over for doing that.

Nor was it right to tell me to go f-ck myself in thinly veiled terms just because I disagreed with stereotyping comments and used a thumbsdown icon.

All you had to do was e-mail Zala or YFIS or Randall if it bothered you that much that I was starting blog quiz threads!
If Randall etcetera did not approve I would have done as they wanted.

Anyone would feel picked on after all this craziness going on in two threads!

And how many would laugh at being told to shove their thumb up their @ss just because they disagreed with rude remarks about men?

Yes, The amount of posts seemed over the top.
This doesn't seem to be a habitual habit of fayte.m's at FFA however so I just took it as she was bored outa' her mind or havin' a bunch of lighthearted fun....

It's important to note I've felt many times previously that others had extended themselves to far in the thread posting department here as well...

My idea of excessive may very well be different from others... Each person has their very own tolerance levels of course!

It matters not who is doing the posting nor what the content of the post is... I'd say more than 3 in a row, maybe four and it both clutters the board and is disrespectful to previous posters who have their recent threads pushed to other pages.

I also dislike seeing the same thread posted again and again across the boards... Maybe on a board or two but more than this and it feels like spam violation...

It seems really ridiculous that this is even being hashed out this way at all. If someone is offended perhaps it would have been easier to have clicked on a mods name and sent a simple email request for relief. At that point a mod could have discretely dealt with the situation by simply asking fayte.m or whomever in question to slow the pace a bit. I've no doubt a kind request would have made a difference without all the mud slinging and humiliation being dealt with here.

I like this board. It’s unstructured. You never know what to expect here, it’s organic and dynamic. Perhaps some who are more fixed in their likes and dislikes and expectations would like to always see FFA stay the same, and as much as they would like to disavow it, with hard and fast rules for EVERYTHING (how many posts per day you may make…..). Guess I’m more of an anarchist than that…..

This instance of “spamming” IS different than the others mentioned, and I think we should take "intent" into account. There was an instance of undeniable spamming a few months ago where a poster repeatedly begged for attention and the lyrics to a song and then got nasty when she didn’t get what she wanted. I don’t really know about MG’s spamming – I assume that was at GU. Both ugot2feelit2noit and MG were offensive and not looking for interaction or discussion – they had what appeared to be a selfish agenda which I do not claim to understand, and even that “agenda” conjecture of mine may not be valid. Fayte’s blogtest posts were not selfish in any way that I can discern.

I for one was pleased to see Fayte posting the blogtests, because she and others were having FUN. Fayte has had a lot of challenges offline in the past several months, and I was happy to see her come back to play around lightheartedly here at LL with these silly tests. I value her presence here. We don’t always agree, but I welcome her input on ANY subject.

I’m sad that people like Mama Mia, who would be fun contributors to this sector, have left in disgust. I suppose there will be some who say, “If you can’t stand the heat stay out of the kitchen,” but THIS kitchen is open to everyone and I don’t like to see people being DRIVEN away by this totally unnecessary harassment. I am disappointed in the level of intolerance at this board today. Especially from people who like to affirm that one of their credos is Live And Let Live.

Shall Mirandee and I and YFIS each take, say, 5 annoying blogtests each, and delete them, Solane?? I think this whole incident stems *not* from blogtest-OD – which could have just been ignored, or like other wise souls have suggested, if you don’t see subjects you want at the boards put up some of your own threads – but that some are still mad about other things from the past…..

That was a tricky question just to see who is asleep. Just kidding. Fayte you were conscious and alert

Regarding the series of quiz at FFA - I did visit here and solved couple of them. I was not ok with some of the quiz results because the questions only had 2 choices. Thats 50-50. Scientifically it means nothing.
Though I had fun anyways doing 'EQ' and couple of other quiz in the little time I had when I visited here.

Regarding the question 'if this is spam' - I think you all can settle amicably amongst yourselves.

I broke no rules.

And rest assured my thread starter numbers at FFA will diminish greatly and I shall avoid starting very many even if I feel they would be of interest.
It is just not worth the hassles or possibility of such.
Or the chance I might annoy anyone.
