Who the hell is Mike Gravel, and how is it I should vote for him?Seriously... I think its funny that we should vote for people based on (what I think) are the fringe elements of what's really important right now. With the war, the failing economy, the lack of decent health care and environmental concerns- who REALLY gives a damn if gay people can get married? MK IP: Logged |

Well, this girls already done her homework and is clearly aware of who she will be voting for as well as what he stands for and rather against. To humor myself I took the test also: It did show 73% in his favor as matching my own personal beliefs.Though as Motherkonfessor just noted, this matters not one iota! My personal opinions do not match necessarily what is best for our entire country nor should they, LOL! Essentially it measures only how strong you feel about each issue rather than how you feel about the issue itself or what to do about it. Ah well... what do you expect it's only a little test after all. Nelly, thank you for taking the the time to bring awareness to the forum. I hope that it does epen some eyes of those who intend to vote based solely on sex, race, or looks. I laugh at how many really believe what's most important is that it be a Demacrat/Republican/Liberal/Whatever... regardless of who it is and what they stand for. Really, Does The Label Matter? May this help people realise that there are real issues that need addressing and we do have the power to become educated about them and ignore who the media promotes as our next options and as our only options. ------------------ Sendin' love your way, "your friend in spirit"

Yeah know what you are saying, YFIS. I knew from the beginning I would be voting for Barrack Obama but took the test anyway. Actually I am at a point where I don't really think it matters who we vote for anyway. I think they are all the same and they all want to maintain the status quo in government regardless of what they may tell us to the contrary. IP: Logged |
