in my life, and right now, I simply can't tolerate it! If the Blind want to follow the Blind,
so be it! I know Linda Goodman is not happy, with all

Everything we experience is the conscious (or for many of us, unconscious) result of our thoughts. Death is not a problem for me to defeat, although I have my own issues about money that I still have to work hard to reverse. We all have our battles. But there's nothing wrong with dying. Quite the contrary. Death is one of many valid choices we unconsiously make in this dream-like state we call "life." I just choose not to. ------------------

Everything I am has been the result of a lifetime of loving and kindness - practicing, learning and gaining a true understanding of those things. My life has sprouted from my heart-mind. As I believe everyone's does, whether they are conciously aware of it or not.Thinking is most people's problem. I work on quieting my mind like the ancients taught.  Also, i'm not concerned with what I will be in the future. Living in the best way I know how today, will take care of the tomorrows. All we have is right now. Coulda beens and shoulda beens, are meaningless to me now. I'm happy with the person I am today. IP: Logged |

Randall, my understanding of physical immortality is that we can greatly extend our lives here if we put our minds to it. The bible speaks of people living for hundreds of years. I believe this is possible. I believe people grow tired physically here from too much sorrow, but if mind and body can be kept healthy, we could live many, many times longer.
But I don't think we were ever meant to stay in this particular realm forever- I think we grow weary of it and move onto the next dimension eventually. Is any of this similar to what you guys believe?

As am I. I'm happy with who I am, where I have been, and where I am going. To stop growing is to stagnate. I can both be happy with myself in the Eternal Now and also strive for more. You misunderstand what I mean by "thoughts." You cannot escape what you think of yourself. None of us can. But I do not wish to give a sermon. It is impossible to stop growing. Even when it looks as though someone is not growing, they are. Maybe baby steps, possibly leaps and bounds. That is the Way is goes. A lot of it depends on the light you are looking at it in.Yes, we misunderstand each other and I disagree with a few things in that post, but that is okay! Lotus,Why do you always keep silently reading here every time you make an announcement that you are leaving? If you are going to label everyone here as fake then I have a right to reply and address you. Why do you preach "Love and Respect for all" and you talk about God and Spirituality but then you use degrading words........and call people fake..... no one is trying to mind F you, maybe you are doing it to yourself? The # of forums here is not a reason to get so upset over; there are 4 million orphans in Africa, there are people starving to death all over the world, people displaced as refugees from their homes, etc. Aren't things like that worth our energy and focus? Linda loves and forgives everyone, I am sure, and I am sure you can worship her in other places.......there are beautiful waterfalls out there, pretty forests, and other places on the net as well. Lotus ~It's very simple these days, requiring no computer expertise, to start your own forum. If you're so unhappy and angry with the people here and the way Randall runs LL, start your OWN forum instead of fussing about Randall changing HIS forum to suit you!! Perhaps you might try treading a bit more lightly with your hard hooves on everyone else's space, opinions and feelings. The wolves were sleeping for a long time. Funny how those wolves always treated you with a lot more respect than you treat anyone else..... I find the flare-ups to be a lot less frequent than a few years ago, but we all have our own perceptions. It's not the flar-ups themselves that are the problem--but the drama kings and queens who descend on them and keep the pot stirred, so to speak. But, for the most part, Lindaland has been rather Peaceful as of late. Not quiet by any means, just Peaceful. ------------------

and queens decending to keep pots stirred, but you allow lotus to come back suddenly after banning her sometime ago...?  I'm sure I'm not the only one who finds that odd to say the least. I mean no offence to you lotus and hope you find some balance again soon. This is not something worth upsetting yourself over. There are better things to focus your energy on, yes?
