i think he has a lovely speaking voice. one of my favourite things in a man (lol! - i have mars in taurus).

synastry wise my saturn is right on his mars. damn! oh well, i don't like younger men anyway. but he's very nice to look at. i've nicknamed him yummy ioan.

the drac chart, on the other hand, is not bad. his jupiter and moon conjunct my sun. his neptune conjuncts my moon.

yes, timothy dalton is an aries - just. his venus is conjunct my sun. so does that translate astrologically that i should find him attractive or him me attractive? i can never get that right - translating that.

how funny!
I just was thinking about Orlando and talking to a friend about him, and how I still like him, even if I was too scared to take the journey to London to see him last year. *sigh*

Speaking of Orlando:
It`s really funny; he is the only one who seems to be a good competition for Jude synastrywise, especially if you take the Draconics into account.
Actually IQ was a little bit surprised that I had so many relevant connections with a celebrity like him, someone I would never meet, and he said that this might be a bit different than the usual celebrity-"crushs" and that I might have had a "past love" with him.

Even funnier, I remember the first time I saw him in a commercial of "Pirates of the Caribbean", and how shocked I was when I saw his eyes, and how I asked my friend who he was. Yes, ridiculous, isn`t it? I hadn`t even seen the Lord of the Rings movies. Actually I had planned to, someone gave it to me as a gift, and then I fell sick when I was to go there.

And a friend of mine, who sometimes "sees" things, connections mostly between people, had a vision about him and me. She doesn`t like seeing those things and she doesn`t do Astrology or Tarot or something like this, she just experiences all of this.
And she had the image of him and me, like the picture of the Two of cups, you know, a young man and a young woman in long robes holding a goblet in their hands.
And surprisingly this fit into the image I had myself, which placed us somewhere in the age of the Druids.

Maybe just a figment of imagination, but the synastry really is SOMETHING.

jude. while i was reading what you wrote - i got this vision about you and him - it's like this little hut/home. i can't quite put a time to it - but the dark ages (sometime medieval) seems to come to mind and you and he are outside. and you are silent - he's the very dominant male and you are husband and wife and you are gathering wood/sticks - i assume for a fire - but there is something very distinct about your silence - like, either you don't have a voice - or you are so submissive that you don't speak - it has a servant feeling to it - but you are his wife and you are of very humble/poor life and he thinks of himself as more than he is - is jealous of others with money.

actually, i've been meaning to ask you this. what orbs do you use? i think 6 deg is too big. i tend towards around 3 for a conjunction but i'll go to 4. 10 is way too much. i touched on this in the other thread with izo. but i'd really like your opinion - and zala's too. i just really think 6 is way too big.

Indeed it did. Not so much the imagery, even though it feels fitting, too, but the kind of feeling it evokes.
It fits amazingly well to the emotional impact of this nightmare I had about him and me; the one which FAyte said could have been a past life memory, because I didn`t see myself, just him and the surrounding, and worse than seeing was that my senses were working all too well, which means I could sense all the smells, hear the noises and above all feel this hunger. Since that dream I know that I know NOTHING about hunger, N - O - T - H - I - N - G!
This kind of hunger, which was only the fleeting shadow of an actual feeling, made me cry when I woke up; not the emotional pain, no the raw hunger. And I understood how such a hunger makes you do just anything just to get a little bit of bread. And you will do anything, believe me. Since that dream I have the feeling I did.
The place of that dream was a concentration camp; I was imprisoned, he was some kind of a guard. And naturally that means he held all the power. At least most of it. There`s a different kind of power, which isn`t being played out on a visible level; but even someone, who is far beneath someone else, basically powerless, can have some kind of weird mental influence. I dunno. It was a very strange and frightening dream. And afterwards it took me DAYS to function in the normal world, the present reality - that is, again.
I don`t know if that really was a past life memory - it certainly is not what I would like to remember-, but it also had this feeling of powerplay to it - and that he held all the power in his hands.

Concerning asteroid, it depends on what you want to know.
For attraction / romance I suggest:

Karma, Valentine, Amor, Juno, Eros, Psyche, Aphrodite, Adonis, Cupido, Apollo

For the deeper / soulmate stuff look also at:

Destinn, Isis and Osiris (the best soulmates in this life sais IQ), Siva and Kaali (you could also look at Rudra and Parvati).

Regarding orbs:

I tend to rather tight orbs too, especially since I discovered the asteroids.
I sometimes widen the orb a little, if there are more planets aspecting each other, but basically I like to see a 3° orb and for soulmates I really want to see at least SOME important 0° aspects

that DW of Union - Nodes could indeed signify that you two have already met in a past incarnation and that for some reason there`s still a connection.
But to be certain about this, you`d have to check the main planets and angles, too.
Is that Union-Node-dw tied to a personal planet, Venus, Sun or Moon, AC or IC for instance?

Irrespective of Ioan Gruffudd being a fine looking fella, Hornblower is an excellent series. Even though it is a period drama it is unlikely to annoy your boyfriend/husband/other male watching. Much. And if you have kids you can be sure they won't be corrupted by the contents. Even better than that, it will remind them that once upon a time little boys got sent to work on ships where they were beaten soundly with sticks if they didn't behave. There are still naval schools about if parents look hard enough, so time to clear up that lego.
