.I have heard of it (rather it's author's) and have no interest in exploring it's pages.
The book itself seems to find a special interest in the hearts of many devout catholics... which um? Actually makes sense in a strange way to me.
Checking out the actual book just now my very first impression was this is actually a "remake" of an old book by an entirely different author entitled: "Spiritual Warfare" came out in the mid sixties and can still be found in salvation army style of thrift stores today. Yes, several other books also have been entitled "spiritual warfare" since then too.. (different books, similar basic ideas)
Anyways the reason I am familiar with the books authors name in the above is simply because a whole lot of negative press and controversy surround them.
As a small example: Click here
I tend to avoid dishonest authors at all costs. Controversial authors no big deal, in fact I may even seek these ones out, but authors whom blatantly lie and misrepresent it as truth kind of make me queasy.
Had the materials been advertised and sold as "make believe" this may have been an entirely different story. I do believe they have found a nitch in the market however, for there is a sucker born every day.
My thoughts...
