lechein, on that first link I sent, for example, if you scroll down just a bit you will see a list labeled "Course Categories" and it will have all sorts of categories you can click on: like Grammar, Nouns, Verbs, Pronunciation, etc. If you click the links in the top box that is immediately visible on the right of the list, you might get taken to a different site where you have to log in or pay. The link/site I sent is completely free and there is no log in at all. Glad you find it useful, T. IP: Logged |

ok, i guess it's only the french that doesn't work. spanish and other languages let me view the pages. oh well my french knowledge isn't THAT basic so i guess this isn't necessary. i wanted to improve it. but the spanish page will come in handy. thank you MysticMelody!IP: Logged |

It's very hard to learn a new language that way. I would recommend going to your public library and borrowing/downloading spoken language courses.IP: Logged |

Sorry, lechien, I only looked at the Italian. I clicked a couple others at random to see if they were all the same and they appeared to be. That's why I thought you clicked the top "sponsor" links. Right, Yin, it's like an online book. I was going to get some spoken tapes at the library and then got distracted with other choices. I just thought it was interesting that the information was available online for free so I took the time to make a thread to pass on the information in case it was interesting or helpful to anyone here in any way. Early summer makes me dream of Italy. IP: Logged |

I started looking into the Spanish one. At first it didn't seem like there was going to be much there, but I looked around and it seems pretty cool. I'd love to learn some more languages.IP: Logged |

yes it's best to combine different methods, like radio and tv courses and actual lessons.IP: Logged |

T and AG, we should totally create an "All Spanish" thread and speak to each other in our crappy Spanish. I took "4 years" in high school (um decades ago) and I remember a few fascinating blurbs I will share with you. In fact, I'll start the thread right now.
