i've had these experiences. sometimes they have been visions of what is going to come. sometimes, like yours, ones that i can't explain. fantastical - think about it - maybe you could write a book - maybe you're being given a story to write. do you write?

i used to have a friend who would have these video tape type visions but hers were prophetic.

AS a matter of fact, I used to weave my dreams into little stories.

I`ve been writing like mad for quite some time, but now time is so short, I don`t get into it anymore. And I`m missing the writing part so badly.
It was like a journey of my mind, not always pleasant, but mostly intense.
I`ve written some fanfiction and vampire-stories. Don`t know why vampire-stories (must be my Venus-Pluto-square).
And then 3 years ago I simply stopped writing.

Well, I think thes "visions" are mostly remains of something I subconsciously notice during the day and has to be processed, but some are really weird.

Like when I was 15, I was doing a meditation and I suddenly saw an eagle bringing a golden goblet; and after that eagle had flown away, the goblet was just hanging in the air, and some of its fluid drippled down on its side, it was blood.

And in my head, as if they were standing behind me, I could hear a male and a female voice discuss me.
And the female voice said that I had to go my own way from now on, even if that meant I had to go it alone, because noone would see what I see and noone would understand me.
The male voice said that it might be too hard and difficult and I could "fall".
But the female voice said that I was a strong person, and if I stumbled, I would be strong enough to get onto my own feet again. And she seemed to be very convinced I would be able to make it, to make those experiences I needed to make, even though they would be rather painful, and the road would be a rather long and lonely one.

Nice things I`m seeing in my dreams and mediations, hu?

On the average, most people dream five times per night. Without dreaming, you would go insane because dreams act as a release valve for your mind-patterns and emotions so that you do not get overloaded or stuck in the multiple layers of filtering life.

Contrary to popular belief, you can only dream about yourself. The other characters in your dreams always represent the various aspects of your own personality and how they interact with one another. Even when you dream about a dear friend or loved one, you must attempt to understand what he/she represents to you personally. This is the only reason that these people appear to you in your dream state.

Each dream symbol can be a generic one common to the human race, or it can be something unique to an individual based upon your personal history and experiences, especially those from childhood.

For example, when you dream about oceans or large bodies of water, this always represents the “oceans of life” or your life perceptions. However, when you dream about a specific body of water, it has something to do with your specific mind-pattern and experience that this water reflects for you personally. Therefore, it helps to interpret dreams when you are familiar with the dreamer’s life, or can tap into the frequency of the person.

When you first wake up in the morning, staying in the same position for at least 90 seconds helps you can retain the dream memory. Once you start to move, you are out of the last position in which you had your dream, and the mind buries the memory. Staying in the waking position for a while helps keep the dream images in your mind so that you can write them down.

There are many different types of dreams—Oversoul dreams, daydreams, lucid, recurring, nightmares, sleep-walking, and prophetic dreams. There are even programming dreams that are based upon the original mind-pattern. I will address these in future articles.

It is said that life is but a dream. Conversely, dreams are but part of life. The two are part of the greater whole. Each reflects the other as physical reality mirrors the non-physical.

Dreamers are the most successful people in the world. The trick is in making the dream a reality. Keep on dreaming and always remember that your dreams are real

thank you for that article. It`s funny, but I already knew that, on some kind of halfconscious level. But it helps to see these words written.

yes, I thought I was the only one with these weird visions.
Well, this was the one vision I remember very clearly about my guides.
But even though I haven`t heard it THAT clearly again, there have been words and fragments of sentences now and then in my mind, which didn`t seem to be totally my own, even though they were highly relevant to me. Maybe those were my guides guiding me.

spirits - yes, you can block, but you can also use this to control what you see - like, you can ask for only positive images, etc.

the most recent one that was really terrible was when i had a dream that my mother was on the floor in the toilette in a pool of blood. i woke up and called her right away to go get a check up with a doctor. i had not seen her for 2 years or so, but it turned out that she was in an immediate need for surgery in the belly area.

different people have visions in different ways. like you said - dreams or meditative states - or like the video type reel. i had a friend who used to see images of her future like that - like a movie. i have flashes too - where i just know things about people or see things. often things will just come out of my mouth.

i was speaking on the phone with a girl i used to work with and i just asked her why she cut her hair and she just freaked asking me how i knew she cut her hair when she hadn't mentioned it. but my life is made of these moments...... it's constant.

that's an amazing connection with your mother. wow! i love that.

i can feel pain in other's bodies so when my children are ill or hurt i can feel it in my body and as a parent that's helpful in determining how to help them. except for my son's asthma which freaks me because then i'm lost - but it's probably why - i'm in denial that it's happening. it's awful.

when i was 7 i had my tonsils out and i remember having this vision of myself being wheeled out of the room - i was watching from above from the corner of the room from the ceiling. during the operation i woke up and i can recall every word that was exchanged between the doctor and nurse when she realised.

so they`re real?

I sometimes can see them still around me, out of the corner of my eye, like fleeting shadows.
And the eery thing is, my middle brother who is mentally handicapped sometimes looks into a seemingly empty space and even talks to someone invisible, even though he can`t remember afterwards. But the real eery thing is that, he usually looks into the exact direction I had noticed these shadows, too.

Whoa, we better not delve too deep into this topic, feels somehow a bit creepy to me. It`s all well, as long as I can tell myself, I am just halluzinating. lol

usually what i do is to tell myself these things are not my concern. i guess i believe them, but in a way i put it at the back of my head. i've never seen so-called "ghosts", and i'm happy i haven't!

i don't need their existence in my life, so i don't have to see them, and i don't need to pay attention to them.

but i think you are more sensitive, and so as your brother. sometimes i see my mother's dogs get up suddenly and look up to places there's nothing. or the dog my grandparents had when i was little barked at empty directions.
