after reading your synastry with daniel craig - it got me thinking about something that i think about every now and then - about how much intuition plays in how we respond to other people and how much astrology verifies it. if i think/feel/believe that someone famous would find me unattractive or unappealing, etc, i don't like them either. do you know what i mean? because it's all by feel. see, i think that daniel craig and i would get on very very well, for instance, but there is nothing sexual or romantic happening there. which is then backed up by the astrology. but do we choose to see it - or is it actually there? i mean, i could find daniel craig wildly attractive if i thought that i had even a slight chance with him. do you know what i mean?

PA,

I don`t have your birthdate, sweetie. You never gave it out.

But yes, I know what you say about starting to find someone attractive, because he might be drawn to you.
This can happen, but I think it only happens, if there is at least a slight resonance within you.

It was the same with Patrick acctually. I mean he looked at me FIRST; he just, I don`t know, he gave the impression that he kinda noticed me in a strange, soon-to-be-forgotten way, but still it was there. And that was actually the point that I got curious. But I wasn`t really prepared for what got unleashed inside of me.

Different example: I have a colleague, who seems to like me quite a bit. I`m not sure how much. But at least enough, so that his eyes lighten up everytime he sees me (which surprised me quite a bit); he`s a rather calm, maybe even shy guy, and I don`t know, I don`t think he likes me in a romantic way, but he just likes me. He just has a strange awareness and is acting kinda strange at times, nice, but strange.
For example he is doing all these bycicle tours with another colleague of ours, and one monday that other colleague told me that they had seen me, because my colleague (the first one) had mentioned that I was there (actually I was in my hometime quite some kilometeres away from my school-town), but do you think either of them had said "hello"? Nope.

Or yet another example: I have bought new glasses, which nooned noticed so far, except for him. He instantly asked if my glasses were new and told me he liked them a lot. This surprised me, because usually men don`t notice anything. lol

So, I can at least say for sure he "sees" me; but the thing is even if he liked me in a bit more romantic way, I couldn`t reciprocrate these feelings. It`s just not inside me. He`s a nice guy and I do like him, but not like THAT.

Maybe that was a bad example, but what I wanted to say is, that there has to be a seed of attraction, so it can get magnified by the attention of the other person. If there is nothing to start with, there will be no growth (of feeling).

And Daniel Craig? Well he could get down on his knees and beg me to come home with him and be the queen of his castle, I would have to decline, because I am so not interested.

BTW astrology related: what housesystem do you use?

i love what you've said here - about the seed of attraction, in particular. yes - most definitely - even something seemingly small or insignificant - but yet, still, some thing.

what you've said about if there is nothing to start with - there is nothing to build upon. i so totally agree with that. which makes it very hard for me to understand relationships that aren't love at first sight, or immediate attraction. what is there to build upon? for me - of course love/attraction is immediate. i don't understand when people say they were friends with their partners for years before they became romantic. it just doesn't make any sense at all to me - or resonate with me in any way. it feels like a compromise of some kind.

it does sound like maybe this guy does like you, btw - you're just in denial because you don't want to place yourself in a position where you have to turn him down. very awkward. i had a friend like that - but i always knew he was in love with me which is why i cooled the friendship and kept a distance but every now and then - in the name of friendship - we would do something together - and i was very conscious about not doing or saying anything that could possibly have a double meaning or lead him to think something other. but it didn't matter - just being around them gives them some kind of "hope". and it's the worst. at least you are not friends with this guy. it kills any friendship. but i never felt anything for him. in retrospect he would have been a good catch - and we could have built a nice, stable, boring life together. he was good relationship material - just not for me. i could never have been myself - free - with this person - and that's my measure.

PA,

"even something seemingly small or insignificant - but yet, still, some thing."
Maybe it`s not even really small, but we choose to think it is, because we don`t dare to hope it could be anything more, or we´re aware of too many obstacles, so we keep that flame small. But if we feel some kind of echo, it might burn a lot brighter all of a sudden.

"which makes it very hard for me to understand relationships that aren't love at first sight, or immediate attraction. what is there to build upon?"
Yes, I know what you mean.
But maybe it is always immediate attraction and love at first sight, just sometimes we are not aware of it, because it maybe doesn`t fit into our thoughtpattern, our life, as we think?

" don't understand when people say they were friends with their partners for years before they became romantic."
Yeah. I know it happened to my best friend and her hubby. Well, he was definitely in love with her from the beginning though.
But it took YEARS, until they became a couple. I think it was 4 years, and he stood by her side all while she was going through a horrible break up (actually two), he was a friend and hold for her, even though it was very clear that he was in love with her. At least it was to me. But him and me we share a Moon-Moon-conjunction in Aquarius, and I think I sometimes get him a lot more than she does. Actually I sometimes understand him better than I understand her.

"it feels like a compromise of some kind."
I always thought the same. I still do. It`s such a horrible thought for me to be with someone, you have never been in love with, never been crazy about. I mean sure it fades over time, but shouldn`t there at least a bit of passion at the beginning?

But she doesn`t want t hat. She wants security, a home, a family, someone she can rely on, a best friend and partner, someone who will be there for her as she is for him, someone to share life with, common goals, build a family.
And she loves him, she really does; it`s just a sort of love I don`t really understand. It`s not romantic, not at all. Without dreams or hopes, but very actual, factual, pragmatic. *shudders* NOthing for me, in other words.

But I guess different things for different folks.

"it does sound like maybe this guy does like you, btw"
Maybe he does, even though I don`t understand the reason for it.
Even astrology sais we are not suited to each other (and he wouldn`t give me his exact birthtime!).

Even though interestingly his Sun, Mercury, Venus and Jupiter are in Aquarius (just like Patrick`s girlfriend`s. Strange).

His Mercury / Jupiter conjunction even loosely ocnjuncts my Moon.

But he has a Mars in TAurus - duh, but also Moon in Aries. According to the Draco`s I should feel a lot more than I actually do, I think.

"always knew he was in love with me which is why i cooled the friendship and kept a distance but every now and then"
Yes, it happened in my teenage years with a friend of mine at school, too. But it became so unbearable, that it killed our friendship. Funny though we shared the exact birthday (even the same year) and he had been born only 20 minutes before me. We really were astro-twins.
Boring.

" at least you are not friends with this guy."
No, we aren´t. Just good colleagues. But I don`t really belong to his circle. I`m not completely outside it either, it`s a bit of a strange situation.

This is interesting, I`m just having a look at the composite with that colleague.

And there is an exact conjunction of Sun and Venus in Capricorn.
It is exactly opposite my natal Saturn, but trines his Mars!

The composite Mars in Aquarius conjuncts his Mercury / Jupiter-conjunction.

The composite Saturn opposes my Venus and squares his Pluto pretty closely.

Since I`ve never done it before, I had a look at Patrick`s and my composite with the links to our natals.

There is a wide Moon-Venus-conjunction in Capricorn
- the Venus opposes my Saturn; oh bummer
- the MOon conjuncts my Antivertex, Sun-Moon-mp and opposes my Eros and Destinn

- the Moon is widely conjunct his Venus
- the Venus is widely trine hsi Mars and Jupiter
- and Moon and Venus are both squaring his Pluto, ouch

composite Sun:
- conjuncts his Sun, Moon, MC and Sun-Moon-mp; not complaining about this one
- also squares his Saturn, definitely complaining about this one

- conjuncts my Sun and Mercury

composite mars, NN and Amor conjunct each other in Libra:
- conjunct his Pluto
- conjunct my Sappho and opposing my Chiron

Composite Jupiter:
- opposes his Mercury

- conjuncts my SN and DSC

Composite Valentine / Lust opposing Juno (all within 1,5°)
- trine his ASC exactly and conjunct / oppose his Uranus (which rules his 12th house)

- trine my Vertex, Eros, Destinn

Composite Antivertex
- exactly conjuncts both our Psyche`s.

I think it is interesting that Composite Sun is conjunct his Sun/Moon - mp, and that composite Moon is conjunct my Sun/Moon-mp.

Edit:
Oh how could I not see this?

The composite ASC is conjunct his Venus (and therefore also conjunct my Draco Pluto and progressed Sun; also squares my uranus though)

I couldn`t resist having a look at another composite

° Sun in Aquarius
- conjunct my psyche and widely conjunct my Moon
- squares his Moon and Juno, and widely conjunct his SN

° Moon in Aries (conjunct Chiron)
- almost exactly conjuncts my IC and trines my Mars and Amor

- conjuncts his Mercury and Eros

° Mercury in Aquarius
- exactly conjuncts my Moon

- exactly conjuncts his SN, but also squares his Moon
- exactly sextiles his Sun

° Venus / Jupiter - conjunction in Pisces
- squares my Mars and ASC
- sextiles my Venus

- conjuncts his Chiron and opposes his Pluto, also conjuncts my name in his chart
- sextiles his Venus

° Mars / Amor in Capricorn
- no significant aspects to my chart

- no significant aspects to his chart

° Saturn in Aries
- opposes my Uranus and Union

- trines his Uranus

° Pluto in Virgo
- squares my Sun and Mercury

- opposes his Mars and conjuncts his Lilith

° NN in Libra
- SN conjuncts my Part of Reincarnation; NN exactly conjuncts my Aphrodite

- SN conjuncts his Sun

° Eros / Karma in Taurus opposing Psyche / Neptune in Scorpio
- opposite / conjunct my Valentine

- conjunct / opposite his Valentine

° composite Kaali / Juno (exactly conjunct) in Aries:
- conjunct my Chiron
- squares my Saturn, Vertex, Eros and Destinn

- conjunct his Sun

Or should I rather look at the Davison?

how come you are looking at composite and not just straight synastry with your colleague? but if the feelings/attraction aren't there - they just aren't there.

I will look at the synastry PA (and ps shame on you being on a party without me. I bet you didn`t even have fun without me, or did you? )

But synastrically speaking there is not much going on with that colleague.

His Sun sextile my NN and Neptune and ASC
hi Sun trine my Pluto

HIs Moon isi n Aries and maybe sextile my Moon and squaring my Saturn and conjunct my Chiron (but his birthtime is unknown)

His Mercury and Jupiter conjunct my Moon

His Venus squares my Uranus exactly

His Mars squares my Moon and sextiles my saturn

His Saturn opposes my Sun

His Pluto squares my Venus closely

His Neptune ocnjunct my ASC and NN (as my own does)

His NN conjunct my Sun and Mercury exactly

That is all for the major planets.

In progressions my progressed Sun is exactly conjunct his Venus.

And in the Draco-Natal we have a dw on Venus-Pluto-conjunction.

Umm - no, no - I didn't have any fun without you. I, umm, I promise - okay? You do believe me, don't you?
