It's been on T.V tonight, things you like that you sneakily like but maybe shouldn't really admit like ....

My son likes High School Musical. His friends say it is for girls but he likes it anyway and sings along to the songs.

I like it too. And Camp Rock. I love all that stuff, I have a little sing-a-long in the bath. With my rubber duck.

Ok I admit that Dr Phil occasionally gives good advice, that I do read gossip mags if I can get a free read (even though the gossip is out of date compared to the internet) and I eat a lot of cheese.

True crime. Books, documentaries, articles. Serial killers and child killers, like Wesley Dodd, attract my attention.

Hmmmm...I don't think I have any guilty pleasures.
I don't have to sneak or feel guilty. Is that a requirement?

You don't have to sneak about more feel obliged to justify your cheesy choice ~ it's cheapo T.V, Lexx, they make banal things of this ilk, hey, there's another one:

I like watching rubbish T.V, example last night I sat through a list show of Most Irritating Pop Songs. I don't just watch rapt in attention, I do other useful things at the same time, post on websites, etc.

Heat magazine. It makes me snort coffee out my own nose. But if anyone asks me if I bought it I tell them I found it on the train.

Granny underpanties... No, seriously. My boyfriend is a big fan of thongs. For work I have to dress up somewhat professionally and, naturally, make sure there are no visible lines from underwear. All in all, I spend a good amount of time with something lacey, frilly or stretchy, pardon my language, stuck up my a$$. So once in a while I treat myself to wearing these huge plain cotton panties and it feels SOO good. I love it! Of course, I would be embarassed to death if anyone ever saw it

OK...men's boxers and long legged briefs.

Big old fashioned rainbow spiral lolly pops.

Coloring/drawing with crayons.

Playing with Legos.

Owning more stuffed animals than any kid I know of.

Eating kiddie cereal in the middle of the night once in awhile....from a bowl with goldfish on it...with a light up spoon in the dark.

Wearing rainbow striped toe long socks.

Blowing soap bubbles.

Ordering the kiddie meal at fast food places..for me, so I can get a toy or wear the silly hat/crown.

Cracker Jacks...but the toys are not as nice these days.

My inner child is alive and well.

I typically listen to darkwave, goth, and industrial. Granted, I listen to many other types from time to time. But lately I've been listening to Eurodance and also bubblegum rock & teen pop off Radio Disney. I believe that counts as a "guilty pleasure."

Hey LEXX, we should hang out! LOL!

Mine...

I have one of those glow in the dark spoons that came in a cereal box.. and yes, I ate my coco rice krispies in the middle of the night with it. lol! This is a "guilty" pleasure because I'm diabetic..shhhh..

And I love the Disney channel. Wizards of Waverly Place, Hannah Montana... and was bummed when Raven went off the air.

I love music other people hate or don't like.. like I grew up on John Denver and Barry Manilow and others I can't think of right now.

Lego's!! Gotta luv em!

Diet Pepsi by the gallon

Hot bubble baths!

I was introduced to something in europe called Milo.. I love that stuff!

Going to the movies for the sheer pleasure of getting a huge tub of hot buttery pop corn and a huge diet pepsi.. nothing beats movie theatre popcorn <tee hee>

Oh.. and cartoons like Fairly Odd Parents, Ben 10 and Spongebob.

k.. that's nuff for now.

I was introduced to Fanta soda while traveling in Italy. This is an orange soda pop made with high fructose corn syrup I think I had at least a glass everyday. I still crave it from time to time. It's addictive.

Also, when I did laundry in a public laundromat in my neighborhood, I walked across the street to the corner liquor store to pick up a bag of Cheetos and a bottle of Coca-Cola to snack on while waiting for the wash. I didn't exactly have super clean hands, but alas

I eat Cheetos when stressed, not a pretty habit. Virgo boyfriend has done a good job weening me away from this . . . but today I am having baked Cheetos . . .

Eurovision Song Contest. This year I dressed up for the event too and I insist my whole family watch.

The internet. Why am I sat here like a loser with no life? Oh yeah. "like" haha.

Extreme Makeoever, 10 Years Younger etc... I like bitching how they never needed surgery and the haircut they gave them is terrible

Listening to musical soundtracks and singing along. Favourites being Grease, Annie, Oliver, Rocky Horror.

Squeezing spots. Well, I am 18.

cheescake.

i made a cheesecake and ate the whole freaking thing in two days.

it makes me feel better ALL of the time.

sushi - I buy it on the sly and eat it in the car so I don't have to share with anyone.

sick huh?

shoe shopping does the same thing for me. I love to buy impractical beautiful shoes that I may never wear, but I LOVE owning great shoes! Strappy... sexy...high heeled shoes ....make me feel good.

those are my guilty pleasures

if I am feeling really bad, I could go shoe shopping and eat cheesecake until I fall asleep in a pile of new shoes with cheesecake stuck to my face and wake up with something resembling a hangover. bloat, headache, drained bank acocunt...and new shoes that will stay in the back of my closet until one of my daughters discovers them and says MOM OH MY GOD can I have these? can I borrow them? PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE...then ....poof...there go my great shoes..or super sexy boots....until.......IT happens again...and again...and again.

also...one more wierd pleasure thing...I like tpeel each individual peice from an orange. you take the peice and peel the membrane skin stuff back it is little drops of sweetness. It could take an hour to eat each individual particle. I know it's wierd. but I like to do it and it makes me happy.

MNF - I totally went through that phase...ROCKY HORROR? wow. the midnight double feature Picture show!

sl- haha yeah! Well Rocky Horror is less of a big deal here in England, in that more people like it in an average, not obsessive kind of way. In any case, cross-dressing is more run-of-the-mill here lol!

MNF - inquiring minds want to know - is joy division (the Band) have quite a following over there? Ian Curtis?
Not so much here, but I heard it IS huge, the following in Europe? is it true?

Alright, one I forgot about but indulged in last night in the comfort and privacy of my own home (a couple of glasses of Rioja helped too) but really really realllllly bad disco music. Such as you would find on "The One Hundred GREATEST Disco Tracks EVER".

RA RA RASPUTIN
Lover of the Russian queen
There was a cat that really was gone
RA RA RASPUTIN
Russia's greatest love machine
It was a shame how he carried on
He ruled the Russian land
And never mind the czar
But the kasachok
He danced really wunderbar

LMAO! I thought I was the only one who did that..
I treat myself sometimes when I go shopping and make sure the whole freaking thing is gone by the time I get home!!
