bm quote: I don't get why men have to hit each other with sticks (and apparently I am rubbish at this game) - but I always say, if you're bored of Star Wars, you're bored of life.
They're primitive. Men can never be tired of bashing the stick. Or, of who can use it a) the longest; b) the hardest; c) the most effectively (not that they care too much about option c - in general). But when it comes to lightsabers - that's serious business in our house. Usually I let the kids win at things - but NEVER lightsabers - it's my domain - I play to rule. We jump around the house, up and down furniture. There's bruises. It's serious business in our home. Ah, I love it. I want to be a frickin' Jedi. I say it all the time - but I really really do. btw - a really good movie for/with the kids - if you haven't already seen it - is A Night At The Museum with Ben Stiller. Oh, so so good. The kids are dazzled by it (me too). Put it on and they are instantly absorbed. It's a great baby sitter. It was on all day yesterday while I was sick in bed. IP: Logged |

bmAh - see now - there you have gone and posted THE most perfect man in the entire Universe. Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. There is no greater Jedi. There is no greater man. He is my NUMBER 1 male! Even more than RDJ. Not Ewan, but the character. He's IT. The perfect man. IP: Logged |

XI didn't know anything about the movie when I saw it. My husband was watching it and so I sat down and starting viewing it as well. And, unusual for me, but I got hooked. It had the Boxing Helena thing happening - just when you thought no she wouldn't - no she didn't - oh, she did! Interesting. IP: Logged |

Another thing I don't get about men is the prediliction for wheels. It starts off from about birth, and doesn't seem to ever die. I presented my friend at work with this theory, he just laughed, because I said, you were looking for that rare book on planes, you can't deny it. Planes have wheels too, albeit small ones. He's retiring next year, see, the love of wheels, it never goes. And just to illustrate my point:

Like anything - it's just a phallic thing. It always comes back to the one thing. It's not the wheels - it's the object they're attached to. Then again - the wheels - are reflective of female genitals so - they're just using what they can to get back in from where they came out. May have some problems if they were born via C-Section. But anyway, that's another issue.Back soon. IP: Logged |

I think the photographer just shoved him in front of the car. Maybe it's his, but he just looks like he's standing in front of it.I know nothing about cars, I just don't get it. The neighbour raves about mr bm's black number with tinted windows at the back, I just moan about how much it cost. What type is it? I don't know, it's black, that's all I know. IP: Logged |

LOL - I'm the same. I don't get cars either. We just bought a new car - for me - meanwhile hubby takes over the family car. I've been asking (nagging!) for years that I'd like a small car - just to drive the kids to school, sport, etc - something small and zippy. Finally got one. Mr PA realied one morning when I had to take one of the little ones to the hospital that we needed two cars as he was stuck at home with two whinging children he couldn't offload. A motorbike just doesn't travel so well with two kids attached - somehow - ??????? So new car - with very little power - I didn't realise how accustomed I had gotten to this car that I'd been saying I hated for the last nine years. You put your foot down and this thing goes - it has balls. Well, my little car doesn't have that. But I can still drive it like it does. Before I was married and I used to hang out with my girlfriends, I was known as "speed-demon". I don't get cars - but boy, do I get speed. There's NOTHING like the sensation of high speed. Then again, I'm yet to go a round or ten with Colin Farrell. I could be wrong.

Peace, just wondering, if you were an animal, which one would you be? I was thinking cat, but I don't know, it doesn't have enough edge. It covers the Aqua part, but does it have the claws for Aries? Has anyone ever told you? Not sure, really not sure. 23, I thought snake, but maybe she would be insulted by that - it has to be something that covers the Pluto descendant, something quite, attentive, a predator.

BM, quote: That's because you are tuning into his vulnerability.
True. I love me some vulnerable men! [QUOTE I don't think his problems were about self-induldgence. I'm just going on interviews and so forth.[/QUOTE] I don't either. He had a lot going on in a short number of years. Sudden fame. Marriage. Child. Divorce. Second Marriage. Albums. Pressure. Drugs. A lot. quote:
As a teenager I used to go around to my friend's house and sing Depeche Mode songs. I sang the low parts, she sang the high parts. I was a twig, she was a woman of lungs, if you get me! She is now an artist, living on a farm in the middle of nowhere with her husband, also an artist. For nostalgia, and for my over-powering maternal instincts, I am going to go with you on the Dave thing. *Meta and Moon agree on a Man shocker*
ME IS SOOOO HAPPY!!!!!!!! Guess what, now we get to talk about him ALLLL the time!!!! Aren't you excited?!?! Ok, so what DM song is your Fav? What's your fav era of Dave? Post a pic. What songs did you & your friend sing?? IP: Logged |
