This sounded less like a game and more like art: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/27188395/page/2/ quote: The game puts players in control of a father figure and begins by having you toss a ball back and forth with your child. The more you play with the child, the more your view of the game world expands and the higher you can jump. The higher you can jump, the farther away from your child and your home you can travel, acquiring more and more stars, which fall to earth as blocks of ice.But spend too much time pursuing stars and you’ll return home to find your child blocked off by a wall of ice. Spend even more time away from home and you may return to find your child gone from you forever. The metaphor is clear — we are inspired to pursue our ambitions by those we love most, and yet the pursuit of our ambitions can close us off from the very people who inspire and love us. (Cue tear rolling down cheek.)
I just wonder how many would choose to play this game instead of spending time with their kids? IP: Logged |

Lol! Believe it or not Dervish, I wouldn't be surprised that couples these days would just abandon the idea of raising a kid all togather and just experience the "digital" modus of raising children instead Lol! Well I can certainly see the practical advantages of such a senerio *Shields himself from the onslaught of angry parents.*Just imagine the popularity of games like the Sims and second life. Reality simulation games have really taken off since it allows the players to experience something that they just could not do so in real life. I guess wanna-be parents would wanna give this a try themselves and IMO it could be a cool social experiment Lol! IP: Logged |

Online divorcee jailed after killing virtual hubbyTOKYO: A 43-year-old Japanese woman whose sudden divorce in a virtual game world made her so angry that she killed her online husband's digital persona has been arrested on suspicion of hacking, police said Thursday. The woman, who is jailed on suspicion of illegally accessing a computer and manipulating electronic data, used his identification and password to log onto popular interactive game "Maple Story" to carry out the virtual murder in mid-May, a police official in northern Sapporo said on condition of anonymity, citing department policy.
