Perhaps I should say I have this disorder to the annoying man who phones work who never introduces himself. He seems to think I should recognise him instantly whenever he calls. I take hundreds of calls a week. Now I recognise him as "Annoying Idiot Man Who Never Introduces Himself" but he gets on my wick enough that I always ask "Who is this?" which gets on his wick loads. Jus' spreadin' the love...

You could just annoy him - rattle his ego. Next time he calls just refer to him as someone else and see what he does/says. Say, oh, hi Michael, or whoever, and start a conversation with him - and see what he does/says. You'll have to eat humble pie, while you laugh, because you'll have to apologise for the wrong identity, but you may have one thing he doesn't have - the ability to laugh at yourself.
