That's it! ***throws something to the ground smashing it infuriated***I just requested a free online compatability report with Rafe - and - I didn't need to research his birth information. You people are all in big trouble! That this information is now embedded in my psyche is of deep concern to me! Hmph! ***stomping out of room, slamming door on way out*** IP: Logged |

quote: The astro-forum hits problems when people don't learn the basic principles, but instead base their knowledge on their own narrow experience.
The grand irony here is that the person who started that thread does the same thing. Yes, agreed - it's very basic - so when people start messing with it - but then - that's how we progress. But this is also why I don't go over to that forum much anymore. It's quite prevalent now. The basics as I know them seem to be on their way out - but it still fits - so, while I'm open to learning - I'm not arguing with the masters I learnt from - and Linda Goodman is a big part of that and those. quote: It happens all the time, no wonder Zala et al pop up every now and then sounding frustrated.
I have the highest respect and regard for Zala and yes, I've read those and it's understandable - go and do your own basic research like the rest of us do. I'm convinced that people just want attention and want their charts read for them - so instead of asking outright - they pose ridiculous questions to get a way in. quote: There's some people I can tell there is no use arguing with, they aren't going to listen.
Agreed. I don't bother anymore. It's a waste of time and energy. quote: There are some basic principles in astrology, like the idea of shared property and its house following on from marriage. Sex for procreation, life and death. It's not that difficult a concept. Particularly for those of us with mortgages, life insurance on our partners, and a working knowledge of family planning.
I'm the last person to beware of progress - but not a total disregard of the basics. That's just absurd to me. You can bend all the rules to make it fit any belief you want. It doesn't make it right though - or true. IP: Logged |

Sean Bean is your national hero! ***chokes on some rather hard object*** Really? Well, the UK is totally ****** then! I knew he was the older woman's bit of rough (or something like that) - whatever that actually means - but national hero, huh? I don't think even his ego extends to that one. LOL! Maybe - bm - he's YOUR hero? You're just involving your entire nation to justify your own fantasies? Makes me think of that Bodyguard movie. Oh Sean - you can be my bodyguard! IP: Logged |

OMG! You mean, like, Superman is Aries so he's Plutonian because he was created in 1933 and Pluto discovered in 1930! Like that! I may have mixed my years - if so excuse me! But you get it! Richard Sharpe's not real? What! WTF? No, now you're just messing with my head. Next thing you'll be telling me that Jedi's don't really exist and that Ralph Fiennes is not God! Surely not!

So Richard Sharpe is your national hero.Russell Crowe is ours - whatever character he plays at any given time. Even though he's actually born in NZ. We do that. We had some claim to Tom Cruise while he was married to Nicole Kidman too. And when Meg Ryan was dating Russ, well, we wanted to own her too. IP: Logged |

On Heath Ledger:Synastry is pretty uneventful. Still, his death hit me, I must admit, pretty hard. I wasn`t able to function for days, even weeks. Just was so shocked. On astroforum:
Recently it has started to upset me (some of the users at least). But as much as I value IQ`s insights, I disagree on matters of 8th house. I know there is this theory out there, to put Leo on 1st house and count the houses backwards, which would give Capricorn the 8th house I believe, and Scorpio the 10th house. However, I think Mars as the start of the zodiac is PERFECT. The year begins with spring, with the new seed that begins to bloom. Mars / Aries is the sign of BEGINNING; it is cardinal, from there everything starts. Perfect description of ASC, too. It`s about the beginning, of this life opposed to the last life (12th house). That is only my take on this of course, but seeing it like this, leads me to see 8th house as both, a house of posessions and belongings and mortgages and so on AND sex. But sex within a solid frame. Comittment. Deeply felt intense merging of two souls for the purpose of procreation and founding a family, a home, where children can be brought up, in the context of a committed relationship. And of course this context also brings the mortage into both person`s lives. Did I rant? Yes I guess I did. But that is just how I see it. Sex in the 5th house is for fun, Sex in the 8th house is a thing on life and death. IP: Logged |

This is just excellent, thank you for that, it puts it so well. It makes me think, the moment your DNA mergers and makes new life. As a commitment you made together. I wish you would put what you wrote about 8th house sex on that thread too, though maybe we are wasting our time. IP: Logged |

PA,just wanted to say 8th house DEFINITELY is about sex (and about mortages, too). Actually, 2nd house also is about sex, as it rules your own body. It`s not just about money. It`s a Venus / house, a Taurus-house, very sensual, though a bit posessive. IP: Logged |

BM,actually I think 8th house may also relate to the DNA, for the reason you gave. I pondered putting it up on the other thread, but I feel it is a waste of time. I will be shouted down, a nd I know, even though I do not want to, my bloodpressure will rise and I would want to beat my fist into a wall. So, I guess I just let it be.
