Too late! I watched a bit of Strange Days today. About 30 seconds worth to be precise. Couldn't stand Rafe's accent. Terrible. Please - he should only be allowed to speak with his own accent. I've seen Strange Days before. And I've lived very many of my own! Well, every day, virtually. And as for using it as a joke - well of course I'm going to. Nothing is off limits. You know me! I'm totally infatuated.....with Colin. Ah, he's just beautiful. Rafe is a distraction - albeit a very good one because he provides so much comical material by just being who he is! It's fabulous. But I suppose I could become infatuated with Rafe - would you mind?

I took another look at the Michael and Paula chart. There’s a strong Neptune motif: Natally he has Moon CNJ Neptune in Scorpio, Square the Sun and Ascendant. She also has Scorpio Moon, and Sun Opposite Neptune. This forms into a brittle synastric T-Square with her Sun Opposite his Moon and Square his Sun. In 1995, his progressed Mars is Square his Natal Moon, his progressed Venus is Square his natal Neptune. Transiting Uranus is on his Mercury and one degree away from his Ascendant. At the time of his death, transiting Neptune is Conjunct Mercury and applying to his Ascendant. ******************** There are also strong connections with Saturn and Pluto . Natally her Taurus Sun Opposite Neptune makes a Kite through her Earth Grand Trine of Sun/Saturn/Pluto. The Sun rules her chart and is in her natal 10th house. It’s Trine Pluto and Saturn. Saturn rules his chart. It’s conjunct his Mars in Capricorn, and Trine Pluto. Her Sun pulls his Mars and Pluto Trine into a Grand Trine. His Moon and her Sun in Opposition make that into a Kite. Natally she has Mars Opposite Saturn. He has Mars Conjunct Saturn. Her Saturn Conjoins his Mars. **************************** I was surprised she didn’t have more Gemini on her chart, but she has Mars Cancer Square Mercury Aries and Gemini Venus Sextile both Mercury and Uranus. With Leo Ascendant so there is her screen persona. It meant I checked her Venus/Mars Midpoint ~ it’s at 24* Gemini/Sag. Hello, His Venus/Jupiter Conjunction is at 23* Sag. Her Venus is Inconjunct his Saturn. Maybe she wanted more than he could give.

Very interesting stuff BM, esp Sat-Pluto and the inconjunct and the Merc-Ura connection. I think Michael was limited in what he could give as a person full stop. This is from "Just a Man" by Michael's mum, Patricia Glassop and his sister, Tina Hutchence. I hope someone reads this and finds it interesting. On Michele Bennett, his true love: pp66-7: quote:

Oh I read it, that Sun/Moon/Neptune/Ascendant combination he has going on is a fragile thing ~ an ego like an eggshell. When wholesome Paula got into drugs and drinking, of course, didn't it seem like it was her that was led astray, but delving into the story, and the astrololgy, there's a different picture, isn't there? Her biogs say she went after Bob, in a major way, then it seems like she did the same with Michael. The Saturn/Pluto action isn't what's obvious from her fluttery, flirty image, nor Sun Taurus. Michelle, maybe they were too young, or maybe even she wasn't enough. Like you say, a comparative synastry would be interesting to look at. IP: Logged |

I think drugs are a choice BM. There is plenty of anecdotal evidence out there as to what happens when a person takes drugs and I think at the end of the day, a person chooses that path knowing the risks. Yes, he was fragile. The very obvious Sun/Merc/Asc square Moon/Neptune is very conflicting and fragile. An ability to decide who he was as well as maybe a disrust of women or maybe a search for the perfect one (Moon/Nep). Everyone said that she went after Bob and was after Michael for years real hard for both. I think there was some talk about Michael thinking she was a crank for a while. However, if you go and look and see when those two were talking to each other on the Tube (Listen like Thieves perfomance), he was into her, dead giveaway - rubbing his lip with his finger and mirror body language, exposing his neck.

I completely agree with this. Everyone knows the personal threat that drugs hold, so when you choose to take them, you do so with the awareness of where it may lead. It's a choice - initially. IP: Logged |
