Thanks for the "jealous of the rain" link.  What a fool I've been not to have seen that movie. I'm a fan of both Rafe and JM. Before saying he's jealous of the rain, he says that he's jealous of everything that moves. That fits perfectly with the Cap walls surrounding a passionate center that EVERYONE sees Rafe as personifying. I think it's our earth/water influence that has us seeing him similarly. We're both masculine Sun/Moon with feminine Mercury, Venus, Mars and Asc. Also, I've been around Cap energy all my life. My sister is a Cap, my mom was a Cap asc, and my SO has a Cap moon. And I have a Cap Venus. So I see the lovable and vulnerable in what others see as cold, control freakishness. Yeah, that'll be interesting. I was thinking about him yesterday before I read that - looking at our synastry. Drac: His Pluto & Amor is conjunct my MC and Eros.
His Moon looks about 4 degrees from my IC - too wide an orb for a conjunction.

DDWhat do you think of this? There is a rocker who keeps turning up in the astrotheme stats for me. So, I finally had a look at the synastry. Trop: His Psyche conjunct may SN.
Eros conjunct Eros.
His Moon, Venus & Chiron conjunct my Chiron, Ascendant, Sun & Psyche.
His Psyche trine my Eros.
My Psyche square his Eros.
His Mars conjunct my Saturn. Looks like I'll be saying no then!  Drac: His Venus & Chiron conjunct my Mars & Destinn.
His Saturn conjunct my IC.
His Neptune & Destinn conjunct my Eros.
His Neptune conjunct my MC.

DDYou asked me what I think of Julian Sands. Have you looked at my synastry with him? LOL! His Sun conjunct my Eros. His Karma conjunct my Chiron, Ascendant, Sun & Psyche. His Destinn conjunct my South Node. His Venus & Chiron conjunct my Moon. That's Trop, now Drac. You should take a look at the Drac! LOL! You asked me what I think about him and I was trying to recall what I used to think of him when he first came to my attention. But I can't. I do recall being drawn to him - but as to how or how strongly I just don't remember. There's something really - unsettling about him. And not in the sexual way that you see him. I think we have some very unsettled and highly karmic unfinished business between the two of us. His Drac Psyche is conjunct our North Nodes. In fact, there's a whole lot of stuff there and Nessus conjunct Pluto - which is EXACTLY what I think went down. IP: Logged |

Umph, what do you want to imply here? But actually I think they ended up for new years eve, but were well aware that it might be impossible to continue the relationship in the future, as they were living so far apart from each other. It was kind an open end. Interesting, I think I have dreamed about Hamlet last night, but funny enough I not about Jude. It just doesn`t feel like I have dreamed of him. IP: Logged |

DDWell, I know that the endings of movies are open to personal interpretation but I just took it from Jude's tears, etc, that the ending of The Holiday meant that they had found the "perfect" person and that they were "happily ever after". IP: Logged |

Well, Eros and Psyche would be a connection between polar energies, Yang and Yin. Psyche the receptive part, Eros the active part. Interesting bit about that myth, Psyche was a mortal. I think she may have been the only mortal ever have been MARRIED to a God (married as opposed to be a short lived affair).
Eros conjunct Eros could mean that both people experience passion and desire in similiar ways and they could arouse strong erotic feelings in each other. But it is more of the Mars-Mars-kind, very masculine, Yang, stormy.

A mutual psychic connection maybe?
Both people would be very intuitive and in tune with the life path of each other.
Very receptive. Possibly a close soul-connection, but I think there have to be stronger aspects to trigger this one, or it could lay dormant. You know, it is there, but people don`t act accordingly. I actually think that is the thing with all Yin energies (Moon, Venus, Neptune, Psyche). They need to be activated by some Yang planets.

maybe Shakespeare? Or Ophelia? Or maybe it`s just that I had seen a glimpse of "Timecode" yesterday again. A film, which not only had Julian in it (the quote came from the interview to that film), but also Kyle MacLachlan. Who in turn had a major role in "Hamlet" with Ethan Hawke. And I think I remember vaguely having mentioned Ethan. Who in turn of course played opposite Jude in "Gattaca"?
