You say that you are offended by PA for her insulting you and your beliefs, but aren't you doing the same thing by saying that she is gaining "blind" followers? That she claims you're "policing" the thread? That all we talk about in Godzala is "sex pure and simple"? Sounds a bit hypocritical to me.

I read the conversation on here between the two of you, and my understanding was that PA was basically saying if you don't like the conversation, than move on. Let it go. Don't read it. She's asking that instead of people dropping by and complaining about what we write that they simply leave, respectfully.

You're right, i do not know you, but i think it would benefit me to talk to you. I'd like to get to know you. In fact, the point of GODZALA- behind the sex jokes and the pictures of Actors- is getting to know each other.

PA is very special to me, and i think that the issue here is that you cannot forgive whatever may have happened between the two of you. This thread needs to end. You should acknowledge that PA is about Peace and respect. She's lovely. And i would bet my life that she would never intentionally fire out insults that weren't in jest.

I hope i didn't offend you. I'm not trying to start trouble. I'm trying to put a bandaid on Lindaland.

Well, as much as I would feel honoured being perceived in that way, I don`t think that`s really me. And I do not remember a thread like this.

Yes, I agree definitely. But what was it that insulted you so much?

I read in the other thread that PA was saying that she can`t understand how someone can make lexigramming a lifestyle. Is that it? Where the falling out started?
If that is the case, Ì wanted to tell you that I didn`t see it as an insult. To me it just seemed that she was voicing her opinion, and that lexigramming could not be a lifestyle for her.

Often we express our opinions in a very "matter-of-fact"-way.
We may say: "Giving up a family for a career is wrong." instead of saying: "Giving up a family for a career is wrong for ME, as I need to have my loved ones surrounding me."

Could that maybe be the source of the dispute, which then somehow got out of hand?

I also perceive PA the same way as you do.

But maybe there is a bit of truth in it; we tend to step over the line sometimes, because we get along so greatly and not everyone understands our humour and then it leads to bad blood.

I experienced something similiar on a party last saturday. We started talking about a colleague, who wasn`t present. A colleage all of us respect and like very much. And yet the jokes went a bit too far I think. Don`t get me wrong, we really like that guy and wouldn`t want to hurt him, but seriously, if he knew about that, he probably wouldn`t really be amused about it. And I`m sorry that it got too far. The other ones except for one didn`t understand what was so bad.
There wasn`t anything too bad being said, just speculations and trivial jokes concerning his ähm romantic inclinations. But I feel very sorry that it got that far. And everytime I see him now I feel the overwhelming urge to apologize for that profanity in his absence, but I guess an apology would just make it worse as as of now he doesn`t know of that nunsense.
And it really was pretty harmless nunsense, yet I feel guilty about it.

THey don't really know lexx or lotus for that matter, and how upset she can get.

If you didn't catch the threads, one crashed, one edited, also in to the personal forums in get to know flake you all...it got pretty heated.

I dont blame lexx for her feelings being hurt, I did not see those comments until later and although unintentional I am sure, it was not so nice.

Not true!! Not me!!!

Imagine the communication on Godzala being a cafe. Not everyone is talking to each person online. There are sometimes 3-4 different conversations going on one time.

Or, you can imagine a tennis match on one court, but 4 couples playing their own game, and occassionally hitting another's ball. That's kinda what it's like.

For a lot of Fire that burns there, the conversations are fluid. There's a prevalence of Arian energy there, too. And you know what energetic conversationalists Arians can be!!!

Having a group of Aussies on there totally turns the chat into slap-stick, use of puns and irony humour into fun hogwash! There is an element of Oz culture that pervades, so to speak.

I skim a lot of Godzala and probably miss a lot of nuances that go on.

I'm sorry that lotus has trouble with sex talk - it may be a spiritual thing. I've gone through a lot of angst from my religous/feminist background over sex, but have accepted we are all sexual beings, using that energy in different ways.

Sex is like studying Lotto numbers, there are so many combinations of thoughts/feelings/philosophies/attitudes on this topic.

In regard to PA, I've valued her humour in a huge way. I've gone through one of my toughest years ever, with family/partner/health/job/soul issues. PA is a funny distraction. But most importantly in my case, she is a woman with a soft, loving heart. She's like a ray of sunshine. It doesn't take long to 'feel' her presence once a communication takes place.

I'd love you to take a visit to Godzala one day!! Are you prepared? Do you have a helmet? Shoulder padding? Like speed? Like good ol' fashioned fun? It'll be like a day out at Disneyland

I loved your post.

Well, I may have missed a great deal, but I read some of Lotus` posts, and I was plainly scared by them.
Of course I don`t know anything about her, and it all may be true about her good heart and vulnerability, but I actually perceived her posts as an attack without warning and i didn`t understand the reason for that attack and even threatening attitude.

REmember I am only talking about my feelings here. Maybe she didn`t mean it that way, okay, but that is what I FELT about it. That is why I held back with posting to her, cause I didn`t know how to exactly deal with it.

However, that is a different matter, I guess. Or are they interconnected?
