.....or am I surprised??

The problem is when people take it too seriously. It's just one site. We've seen how serious people take themselves and it, and how easy the ego can over-ride. While it may be a significant part of our lives or expression, when you start to take it that seriously - you need to step away. It's strips people of objectivity, even logic, and they take things personally when there is no need to. That's where people unhinge themselves.

I think bm has the best attitude about life online.

My attitude is it's supposed to be fun. I have a life outside of being online. Being here is a place to make friends, primarily - to have laughs and also learn about myself and astrology. Anything more than that, and it's not worth it.

But for some people - it's all they've got, for whatever reasons. I'm grateful that I I'm not in that place.

I believe, when something ceases to be fun, you shouldn't do it anymore.

Well, what happened with us and lotus - that was just weird. There we were just having fun together and she came on and it was so unexpected. And then we both said basically the same thing, like, yeah, thanks, and we ignored it and kept going. Then she told me to kiss her ass. That was just out of nowhere. The difference was in our basic attitude about being here, as well as ourselves (and each other, because I actually really liked lotus). Then following me to my new thread in Know Two Are Alike was just rude, but again, it was unexpected. And then hot on the heels of that was the thing with lexx which was just highly unexpected as well.

Online communication and life is totally unpredictable. In the end, I don't think it has anything to do with us. Sometimes people just have something triggered inside themselves that makes them come undone. I mean, that's totally unpredictable. You could say something highly offensive or nothing at all and get the same response. I also think that any one of us has the potential to snap at any moment. Sometimes it only takes a bad day or one incident.

But that unpredictability also comes in the other form - where someone can say something utterly hilarious out of the blue. I love that.

I'm here talking to you. I'm happy. That's all I want. I'm here to have fun. I think that's a sane perspective for an online life.

Ah, I have a date with Master Kenobi this evening. I have designated TV time. Which is rare.

Though, now, thanks to koi, I'm really curious about The L Word and would love to see some episodes. Damn you Temptress. First the chocolates, now the TV shows. Luckily we have different taste in men, otherwise there would be trouble there.

What do you think of Sienna Miller?

That happened the other night. It came up a bit nasty after a hot day so I checked the BOM site and there were no thunderstorm warnings, but the sky just didn't look right. So I put the car in the garage and then it hailed.

On break, and moitoring the forum while watching "Le grande episodes of Pepe Le Pew" and simply laughing my ass off.

- "A colleague of mine once noted, there is very little difference between men and women. But, VIVE LE DIFFERENCE!!"

- "Everyone should have a hobby, don't you think? Mine is making love."

- "Le hiiissssssssss! I am a snake and you have charmed me, no?!" (the inuendo alone makes this quote particularily hilarious )

I'm going onto Astro during the holidays. I'd rather take my time and have a really good look through it. Then reply to the ones that I might be able to answer. All of that takes reflective time.

I don't spend reflective time here! It's all shallow slap-stick firing out at the speed of making a cheese ball

Ah, even that shallow slapstick cheeseball quality can teach you something. Probably more than most things, I think.

I want to get more into the astro too. There's a lot of stuff I want to research and some of it is just starting top come up in the threads now. A lot of the astro focus has been on synastry. There seems to have been a shift more towards natal. And that's what really interests me.

Well remember PA that forums operate at their own individual pace. So patience is the name of the game. Unfortunately, sometimes, you have to wait VERY long for an answer you yourself probably already knew.

That was lucky about the Hail storm your car missed out on!! The sky says it all in these parts!!!

There is a lot of synastry stuff. I think it tells us people are caught up in attractions and trying to make sense of them.

We are all hooked on Love. Just ask Pepe!!

That just sounds like the game we call life, X!

Or is it Pepe? Analysis of your love there loudly speaks: "great romantic".
