Hey Jude and Jedi look like brothers!!This thread has died!!!??? No, just slowed down.....a snake's been keeping me busy!!!! What's everyone elses excuse?? It's a carpet python - very beautiful and not too dangerous if you're a humanoid - but could be fatal to the family feline if it's hungry!!!! The one curled up next to our agave looks like this one: IP: Logged |

I could just dive in between those purple pyjamad pair and relax with a cup of tea and a read of the paper. *sigh* Instead I have to go to work in the dark. Nice work though, Meta-4. IP: Logged |

Awww... BM! My heart goes out to you. I wish you could come out and play instead of working in the dark. But who knows, maybe a Christian-like vampire will come along and bite you seductively IP: Logged |

I've never seen them live, but that's where my screen name comes from "Azala" is the Goddess of Air (Libra Sun) and Guardian of the Sun (Leo rising) in a production called "Dralion" (Dragon/Lion).....IP: Logged |

WOW!!! Azala was awesome. She played in one of my favourite acts. It had something to do with Looovvveee - and was very beautiufl to watch. There was a feeling of "belongness" as each perfomance rolled into one. If you are ever able to go - please do!! Such talent unfolding and interacting into an exciting performance is sheer wonderment! I'm sure if meta went, she would momentarily forget Ralph and others, in the visual beauty and excitement, which is DRALION!!!

Here: http://www.linda-goodman.com/ubb/Forum7/HTML/010575.html Kind of weird. Disclaimer: Just my view. In case SW comes on here screeching and crying. Doubt it. I'm a stepmother. I've never thought of it in the terms he describes at all. I don't really do jealousy either, so I am a bit at a loss with this one. Just on a different wavelength. IP: Logged |

Hey bluemoon Just as you come on, I go off to get ready for a night out - drat!!!! Ys, interesting on that topic - I want to re-read it and comment. I'm not the jealous type, but I have found that my relationship has been effected by my partner's adult children - but that has a lot to do with the personality of my partner and the personality of her adult child. Thanks for finding it for me! I'll reply tomorrow!!! Have a great day/night!! IP: Logged |

That sounds like the typical family situation of (sometimes incompatible) people trying to get along. IP: Logged |

blue ~ quote: Kind of weird. Disclaimer: Just my view.
My view is that his attitude is mind-bogglingly weird If I met a man who couldn't look at me without thinking of my past lovers, loathed the fact that I'd done my bit for the propagation of the species and that I loved my progeny but not his/her male-progenitor, and was disturbed about my life-ruining time/money responsibility, I'd have to feel pity along with the abhorence. If that man was looking at my child and thinking of me having sex with the child's father, that smacks to me of a really primitive/possessive philosophy -- either that, or some kind of internal comparison is going on and a lack is being perceived. I'm unable to even empathetically put myself into his shoes to try to understand. Makes me think of what happens in a lion pride when a new pride male fights the old pride male and wins (the new leader kills all the old male's cubs).Well, different strokes, I guess -- but it sure makes me wonder how some men in their teens/20's come by their bizarre and creepy viewpoints/values..... **edit** I need to practice better compassion. He said he was ashamed. But I felt outraged. quote: How can she not contantly think of the man with whom she shared a child?!?!?!?!?!?
Yes, I think about my son's father occasionally -- with fear and loathing.....IP: Logged |
