Forgot about this thread😁
Had very few good Christmas memories and experience in my earlier life way back👽😢
However there were a few nice ones🥰😎
Have had good ones with my beloved
since 1997 but not going to update
just yet again on those🥰
Most too peaceful and boring for folks
to care about😁
Also too poor to actually do holidays
thesepast several years and
Covid has put a kibosh on socializing
as has cancers, seizures for us
both etcetera😢
He cannot even look at Christmas lights
because they cause painful disabling
seizures and blackouts😢So we just hang out with each
other these days and try to be
happy with still
having each other.🥰💞😎💓😁

Christmas shopping with my mum, in 1995. We were at the mall as soon as it opened. I'd been up all night, so I was exhausted, but I wanted to get out with her. I was pretty agoraphobic, but she was one of my "safe" people, and I loved Christmas.It turned out that we were also having a blizzard that morning, so we drove through that, and had a few hours before mum had to be at work. We finished up at a small bookstore in the mall, and ended up sitting on the floor, looking through the books of cartoonists, and one based on Jack Handy quotes, from SNL. We laughed so hard, the people behind the counter might have thought we were on something. But it's one of my favourite memories. IP: Logged |

Fulton Street in Brooklyn, NY in the 60's going to Woolworths with my late Aunt Ismena to buy toys at night. Freezing cold, wonderful memories of Fulton Street during that time and the wonderful storesIP: Logged |
