Koi is funny laydee!Koi, I was pondering lesbianism the other day right, I hope you don't mind my asking about my ponderings, but wanted your point of view. I always always always think women are more beautiful than men. If I'm walking down a street on any given day I will think "Wow, she's beautiful" quite often. Hardly ever about men. And I notice quite a lot that my women friends always get more turned on by the physicality of men than I do (eg they see a random man and they wonder what his manly parts are like, if you know what I mean). I never do, not for a random male stranger. But with female strangers I find it very easy to appreciate their beauty, and therefore their sexuality. With men I have to fancy their mind in order to fancy their body. Which leads me to think, maybe I have gay tendencies. None of this bother me but it's something I've pondered. I actually feel very similar to a heterosexual male, and I wonder how they function sometimes, with all the female beauty around. I think sexuality is very fluid, and think it would be quite possible for me to fall in love with a woman, BUT it would be physical first probably. What's your angle on this? I find the concept of sexuality quite fascinating. I find the label "heterosexual" quite odd, since I also carry this feeling about women. What's your take on all of this? What's everybody's take on this? IP: Logged |

wheelsBrilliant question. Reading this: quote: If I'm walking down a street on any given day I will think "Wow, she's beautiful" quite often.
Could have come out of my own autobiography. I just always put it down to being more interested in what's going on inside the person rather than their body. It's very rare for me to look at a man or woman and go "phwoar!!". Whereas someone saying something very witty or bright will instantly get my attention. Like you, I notice the beauty of women more than men. But I think women are actually nicer to look at than men. Women have curves and shapes, men are more angular. I think it's just a visual thing. We're nicer to look at. Well, not me in particular, but women, in general. I should shut up now. IP: Logged |

Cor blimey!!! Wheelsofcheese - I will write what I can now and then come back to this tomorrow....I always always always think women are more beautiful than men. If I'm walking down a street on any given day I will think "Wow, she's beautiful" quite often. Hardly ever about men. that's how it started for me! I can look at a man and think "How quaint, he has a nice jawline", but I can look at a woman and be mesmerised by her beauty. There is something that radiates from a woman who captures my attention And I notice quite a lot that my women friends always get more turned on by the physicality of men than I do (eg they see a random man and they wonder what his manly parts are like, if you know what I mean). I never do, not for a random male stranger. But with female strangers I find it very easy to appreciate their beauty, and therefore their sexuality. If I see a woman who I find 'attractive', there usually is a feeling that runs deep. There is usually a grace about her that I admire. A grace I want to pull close to my soul With men I have to fancy their mind in order to fancy their body. I love guys company. I appreciate their friendship and loyalty. I can usually share deep secrets with close male friends. Lately, I've been seeing a deeper into men in a soulful way. I used to see through them, and couldn't stand their arrogance, except for one or two close friends. Now, I'm beggining to see them as spiritual beings. But it's taken me over 40 years!!! Which leads me to think, maybe I have gay tendencies. None of this bother me but it's something I've pondered. I actually feel very similar to a heterosexual male, and I wonder how they function sometimes, with all the female beauty around. Me too, lucky dudes!!! I love your honesty! Sexuality is fluid and I wish more people could acknowlege that!!! Women are more prone to that fluidity, I'm sure. Personally, I think sexuality is tied into spirituality and women are more attuned to those invisible connections. However, there are a lot of women who love d**k only!!!!! I think sexuality is very fluid, and think it would be quite possible for me to fall in love with a woman, BUT it would be physical first probably. What's your angle on this? That's a great way to start!!! The physical, that is. If you are attracted to them and they to you, then it's a beautiful experience to explore a woman's sexuality. Having a relationship is another thing. i think ALL realtionships take a lot of work!!! Attractions come in all forms. From small cravings to mad passionate obsession! So, if you wanted to make love to a woman, go for it!!! My advice is to carry on an affair for a while, because it gets better the better you get to know them!! I find the concept of sexuality quite fascinating. I find the label "heterosexual" quite odd, since I also carry this feeling about women. What's your take on all of this? What's everybody's take on this? Heterosexual is a label. Same sex partners have been around lots of cultures over the centuries. It's a shame some cultures regard it in evil terms - that is evil to me. Same Sex Love shouldn't be denied. You can't help who you fall in love with. To be forced into a relationship that feels unnatural would be a terrible spiritual crime. Even some animals display gay behaviour. I wish I had time to write more, wheelsofsheese. I've appreciated your questions!!! But now it's late and past my bedtime and I have work tomorrow. But I hope to come back with more questions and comments!! Nightie night!!! IP: Logged |

Noooo! Don't shut up! PA thanks for responding. Maybe it is as simple as women being visually more pleasing, and I am complicating the matter. It's a question I don't feel comfortable asking outside the safety of this forum and with women I can trust not to say "Freak!" and then wonder whether I fancy them. Turns out I don't. Me and Pisces are wondering about writing to Cate Blanchett and asking her if she'd like a bit of how's your father mind you. We have very similar taste in womanly beauty, as we have similar visual taste in lots of things. Visually more appealing you say.... hmmm. Thanks PA. IP: Logged |

wheelsI think maybe the difference is - do you find yourself sexually attracted to women? I mean, I find women beautiful, but I've never met a woman I was sexually attracted to. Whereas even in the rarity that I'll see a man I think is beautiful to look at, if I meet someone and there are mental sparks, that's sexually attractive to me. IP: Logged |

Hi Wheels. My hooter is broken. The nurse tried not to laugh. He said he has broken his loads of times kick-boxing. But never by picking up a pair of shoes. I am being sent to another hospital for a consultation tomorrow with a view to getting it operated on. By a joyous coincidence, the trip will be a double one as my friend has a grandchild on the way as I type. Thanks to Peace for telling me to see a doc, don't say no-one ever listens to your advice on LL. They did this time. IP: Logged |

quote: I think maybe the difference is - do you find yourself sexually attracted to women?
I think this is the heart of the matter PA, and the answer is I don't know. I think there is potential and maybe I should just be fine with accepting that. I haven't met a specific woman that I would want to sleep with or dream about sleeping with, but if it happened then I wouldn't be all that shocked (I don't think, but maybe I'd need to experience it to know for sure). It's very generalised, so maybe what I'm feeling is fantasy rather than reality. Or maybe I'm getting off on being a woman myself. Does that make sense? Seeing the potential of women to make men a bit crazy? I actually want to ask Koi the same question - do you think you would ever be attracted sexually to a man? Would there be potential? wheelsI think there's some interesting points there. I must admit, for me, being around a man that I find extremely attractive and it's very definitely mutual, that makes me feel very womanly. I don't feel the same way with women. I don't become aware of my sexuality around women. I don't get the butterflies, or the feelings, I don't melt inside when we touch physically. Even before any physical contact, I like the excitement of standing next to a man and feel that energy bouncing between us. I've never felt that with a woman, no matter how beautiful or witty I found her or how much she made me laugh. And all those things, are key to what I find attractive in a man. So the same qualities evoke different physical responses. koi and I have had this discussion before. I really believe that we all carry a balance of attractiveness to the opposite sex. I think everyone has the potential to fall in love or lust with a person of their own sex. I really believe that. Never say never there. IP: Logged |

Nurse - kickbocker, average height, blondish, laughed at my bent konk. Then I went to see a work colleague about a project, he said he couldn't tell the difference, but then he thinks I'm about the same height as his wife. She's is half a foot taller than me and has legs up to her ears. So what would he know? IP: Logged |

Nope, neither do I actually (about women) and a big yes to all you said about men. Dash it though, I wish they didn't have that effect, they confuse me. It was helpful that you indicated the realm of FEELINGS there PA, physical and mental, as sometimes I am way too "Gemini moon" and want to pick everything apart rationally (ie I am able to admit I would not rule out love with a woman)but that doesn't actually square with my feelings to date. And there are differences in the feelings I get about men (which are like yours). A strange alchemy this attraction lark. I'm still going to perve over Cate Blanchett though. Although unsure of what I would do if she asked for a snog. IP: Logged |

wheelsIf Cate asks for a snog, I'd be going for it. I mean, what better way to explore how you feel about it. Though, she's not my type. Not that I have a type, in men or women, but I don't find her beautiful/attractive. IP: Logged |

Good, therefore you are OUT OF THE COMPETITION! hahaha. I was just looking at pictures of her, and pictures of other beautiful women including Saffron Burrows (gorgeous) who used to be married to some bloke but now bats for the other side. Perhaps I'll practise on her then, more of a sure thing, no? IP: Logged |
