Back tracking a few pages. PA said: quote: A 40yo man without the mentality of a 19yo is quite rare! They seem to regress at that age.
MVM said: quote: PeaceAngel -yes, I am rather alarmed at the regression actually I've heard the saying that once they hit 35 they start to regress...fear of aging? Ah, who knows.
PA said: quote: I have this issue with younger men. But I don't think it has to do with age, it's more maturity level. I don't like the idea of being with someone "younger".
Yeah many are in arrested development. I am glad my 39 year old husband is not one of them. I find most men around my age (54) to be macho stuffy old fogeys with "me man, you woman" cave man mentality. Or Peter Pan never grew up arrested social development at 12.------------------ Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass, it's about learning to dance in the rain. IP: Logged |

My snout is throbbing. But really it is my vanity that is most pained. I don't have the prettiest of noses on a good day, now it looks even worse. MVM Mercury in Taurus can be a pain as it is so slow. Happy Dragon is very true with his quote about it needing to feel the truth of something before it can commit. There is no point fighting this, or so I have come to believe. IP: Logged |

mr bm asked me if his computer game character should wear combat trousers or hotpants. I said it depends if she is going to walk through nettles or swim across a river. That's the kind of intelligent conversation you get when you marry an older man. IP: Logged |

Meta:As far as my photos of women here go, they're all cute, but I don't have a set form for my attractions. I'm attracted to women of all shapes and sizes, and I never know why or when I'll be drawn to someone. I believe you may have some misconceptions about the scope of my tastes, so don't rule yourself out of my interests. Post a photo of yourself. It's true, I don't see myself at all as a feminine man, but I feel I can relate to women very well. Obviously you're speaking solely of physical appearance, so I guess I'm stuck with your verdict. If you cared for absolute control, I'd likely soon consider you undeserving of love. I can't imagine how some women expect to subvert my self respect, or why they would even want someone like that. How could you have agreed with my described desire for soul merging when your terms require your own superiority? My last Saggie girlfriend had a "my way or the highway" attitude, and I didn't care about 90% of the matters, mere trifles to me, so I gave her what she wanted, but I considered her too unyielding to be fit for the classic definition of a "relationship". My Libra Moon seeks a symbiosis; compromise and mutual affection rather than control. I'm very possessive but I realize that exerting my control usually leads to women's deception, so I try to acquiesce to my ladies when I can, and I expect the same in return. IP: Logged |

I'm not sure my Libran Moon seeks a symbiosis. Mainly it would like everyone to get along and have a good time. If it can be a bit controlling it keeps it to itself, makes sure it isn't obvious, and ultimately blames Pluto for causing all the trouble. My pic is too big, but it is funny. Love the outfit, Koi.

Agony Aunt? Is this a British-ism? It's the person who answers the problem page in the newspaper. What does she get called elsewhere? Dear Deirdre of The Sun is a classic example. It's scary how many people write in after getting the babysitter pregnant or being caught in bed with their boyfriend's dad. But Deirdre remains sensible and unfazed throughout, dispensing wise counsel. IP: Logged |

Alright, i feel like an explanation is due- which somewhat irritates me.Scorpy, i'm not a "my way or the highway" type of person. Far from it. I can compromise and sacrifice for the right person. I am very possessive, but what i was trying to say without saying it was that i'm not attracted to you like that Scorpy. I'm sorry if i gave you reason or hope to believe otherwise, i didn't have any intentions to do so. I meant everything i said about how we're looking for similar things, and understanding what you meant- because i do. I think we ARE looking for the same things, just not in each other. I was trying to hint at that by describing the type of men i'm attracted to and by trying to discourage your "interest" in me by pointing out how different i am from the lovely ladies you posted. I think we'd make great friends. But just that... I'm sorry about all this mess. I sort of sensed that this is what would happen by some comments made to the side: "Sorry to interupt you two", "We shouldn't let the harsh aspects stand in the way", etc. Hope i didn't hurt your feelings. Hope you can forgive my slight... IP: Logged |

I meant in general. Tomorrow will answer the question of whether or not the snout can get straightened. But just to help it along I am going to make sure I snort pathetically when asked. In case they decide it is an unnecessary use of taxpayer's money. IP: Logged |
