I heard the Lemonheads on the radio today, and thought, "I have to add some Lemonheads to my MP3 player." I think I still have one of their albums somewhere around here.Meta, it's interesting how many covers are in your list. I heard a cover of The Smiths' Stop Me If You Think That You've Heard This One Before last night on Nip/Tuck (a show I don't normally watch). It sounded pretty good. The singer was more of a soul singer it sounded like. Kinda cool. IP: Logged |

Got Gem,No worries. I can be patient... or i can try, at least! AcousticGod, Thanks for the tip. I'll look it up. I really The Smiths. Nip/Tuck has some good music. I found a cover of "Melt With You" by Modern English on there once... not bad... I think that i have so many covers because those listed are much more intimate than the original song. Not that i don't like the original, but i have a thing for acoustic, slowed down, mellowed out music. And those fit my motif! ... if that makes any sense... IP: Logged |

If that's the case, I'll have to check them out, because I like that, too! You should check out Elbow sometime. IP: Logged |

Goldfrapp I'm apparently weird with music. I can go weeks without hearing any. ------------------ "The pioneers of a warless world are the youth who refuse military service." -Albert Einstein IP: Logged |

AcousticGod,Listening to "Bones of You" by Elbow right now. I like. I like a lot. vivid_child, Again, same taste. I love Goldfrapp. Strict Machine, Oh La La. Great to dance to. Are you into the gothic scene per chance? Goldfrapp is played a lot on the underground dance floor, which is why i'm asking IP: Logged |

Mmmm, thou art exalted then with thine Venus in Pisces. Mine, alas, is in Scorpio and in its detriment Do you get on deezer.com at all? Great site. Listening to Lizz Wright at the moment. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JuzswRpQhCI IP: Logged |

i didnt know deezer.com i ll have to explore it deeper. thanks.same for lizz wright. great song. venus in scorp must be cool too, especially under the sheets. venus in pisces is not always easy, especially when it is part of a T square, opposing saturn in virgo and squaring neptune in sagitarius. i go from feelings of closeness to coldness for unavailable lovers. difficult love life to say the least. so i dream my love life. Praecipua, Scorpio Venus is most certainly NOT cool under the sheets hehe.I have a T-square with me Venus too ! Opposing Taurus Mars and both are squaring Jupiter in Aquarius. Fixed T-Squares are not fun. Ok, I lie. They are. Jupiter definitely manages to be part of the problem while being good at making me forget it Deezer.com isn't so well-known in the US. I think it might be French, which is why I asked you - I found out about it while I was in Cairo. IP: Logged |

I was turned on to this band today. They're pretty amazing. Vocally I hear hints of Bowie, Lou Reed, Chrissie Hynde, Joe Strummer, and even the singer from Dexy's Midnight Runners. The music and lyrics are both quirky and intricate, but don't necessarily beg for you to notice. They sound enviably cool.Scissors For Lefty - Ghetto Ways Scissors For Lefty - Mama Your Boys Will Find A Home Scissors For Lefty - Lay Down Your Weapon (the boy is one of the band member's sons) Scissors For Lefty - Softly The Sea Swallows The Sun

Finally done backing up and moving my music to external drives! It took forever! My primary external was full so I had to put all my music on a bigger external and back it up on another drive of the same size. It took so long because I zero-out'ed the drives since i'm on an iMac when I play music. ------------------ Virgo Asc 6˚& Mars 0˚ Gemini Sun 24˚ Libra Moon 14˚(conjunct Pluto 0˚ in 2nd house) Gemini Mercury 25˚ Cancer Venus 29˚ And yes, i'm a guy!
