SW - You got all problems in order for solving!!! Did you notice that? So, you've started problem-solving already!!! First, the lonely thing is the easiest to do something about. I know 'deep' loneliness won't be solved if you're wanting to merge with a soul-mate, BUT making a connection with another person is a great start! You're on-line, making a connection! Yay!!!! Secondly, inspiration comes with a bit of stimulus. Connecting with others can be stimulating. Watch out for that Inspiration to start bubbling inside as soon as you start communicating with others! Call a buddy, go bowling, do coffee, buy that cool shirt and chat up the sales assistant at the same time. Inspiration is hugely talented and will jump your bones before you realise it!!! Thirdly, money - yeecch... ekky subject. Let's see.... Connecting with others and stimulating Inspiration can only energize you to take control. Money is Power and Energy. Taking control is the only way to deal with its ugly face. But that can be a long process. I'm pretty limited in advice there. IP: Logged |

Hey at least you're not stuck in the middle of freakin' nowhere and unable to make a connection at ALL. I am grateful for being on here, but human contact is null and void out here. YUCK.IP: Logged |

Man do I miss living in a city where I can walk around. This getting in the car crap for everything drives me up the wall LOL.You get to see live music, Scorpionic? I would think it's at least good to go out somewhere and be around human beings in general...though if you don't feel you're connected to them, then it can seem alienating at times... IP: Logged |

I'm not a happy person. I never talk about it because people tend to respond to depression as if it were a choice. There isn't anything particularly wrong with my life, nothing about it is worse than anyone else's. I fully accept that this is just the way life is, and I'm simply unhappy with it. IP: Logged |

At least you've acknowleged a depression related situation. Have you looked into options to counteract it at all, SW?As much as I'm into alternative therapies, I will opt to take a pain killer, if it means relieving acute, immobilising period pain - TMI, I know. My philosophy is no use living with pain, when I don't have to. How do you feel about looking into options? IP: Logged |

I think we live in a society which sometimes forces us to expect happiness all the time, or to be that way because it's 'healthy', and if we're not happy, then it insists that there must be something wrong with us, even if there's not. Maybe that's part of it too. Koi, I can completely relate to the need for period painkillers ...not TMI. It's all too true.

Connecting with people is great, but it always feels superficial and forced.Ten years ago, at about 16, I was briefly on medication. Prozac did nothing, Zoloft made me manic, and Wellbutrin made me suicidal... the thing that stopped it all was my realization that depression is my natural state: I was made this way, it must have been for a reason, and I'm supposed to make the best of it. Quite right! There are many expectations in society. Just plain 'being' is a great way. I htink the Buddha philosphy is to be in the middle point of all emotions... between happy and sad, anger and complacency, excitability and drab, etc. IP: Logged |

Have you tried a diet that's specific to you SW?There could be a standard food that's wiping you out. But then again, you could be onto it - that it's your natural state. However, in saying that, I think natural states can be tweeked with Cognitive Therapy, meditation, diet... But I don't want to sound preachy. I'm just interested in what you've got to say about your situtation. IP: Logged |

Koi:A diet specific to me? Outside help, psychologists and such, are worthless for me. I've proven too stuck for an outsider's impact. Meditation seems like a great idea, but so far I haven't been able quiet my mind through sober means. My Mars in the 6th house manifests exactly as expected; it seems my frustrated energy releases most when I'm wrapped up in fruitless toil. I walk a lot. A whole lot. It clears my mind completely; I never get any thinking done but it's numbs my melancholy and allows a slightly peaceful calm to come over me. IP: Logged |

Koi, I am a huge fan of Alan Watts In general, all the Buddhist psychology stuff appeals to me because it's soothing to my high-strung nature Walking is awesome. Cappy Mars? Find something to climb too. Does wonders, I would think. IP: Logged |

Yeah, Cap Mars. Day-hikes are fantastic for me. But these are only effective in the moment, and definitely not realistic for daily life.IP: Logged |

MVM - look into Holosync meditation. It fast tracks the brain into alpha, delta etc states. It takes years off practicing medition, because listening to these soundtracks automatically leads the brain into a meditative state.I've been doing it for almost a year. I don't endorse something unless I think most people will derive something from it. It's like a cognitive Vit C for the brain!! Holosync meditation also encourages DHEA - a growth co-enzyme that slows down cell burn-out. Basically, it makes your cells last longer, thereby adding years to your life http://www.centerpointe.com/ IP: Logged |

Tim Curry. Just looking at his imdb data and apparently he's 5'9". I don't know why, but he's always seemed taller to me. Can't be just the high heels either. It's not the only performance I've seen him in.I love his wickedness. He does naughty with absolute perfection. Love the way he uses his voice with his characters. Brilliant. IP: Logged |

Yeah, sunshine, he is. I'm not usually into the pretty ones. I dreamt of him the other night. Made me curious about him. Driving back home from Sydney recently, he kept me awake for the last hour of the eight our drive. Couldn't stop thinking about him. Even that is really weird. IP: Logged |

metaYeah, George and The Dragon was a disaster. I was hoping for better things. I always love the knight/romance movies, but this one was flat from the very beginning. Never going there again. I had higher expectations of Mr Purefoy. Hope that your day turned out better. I can't even bring myself to make fun of the "shoot me" line. Yeah, just hope it got better from there. IP: Logged |

XODIANWelcome back. Okay, formalities over. Straight to the point. quote: In all honesty... He lost his cool factor by overacting the in the "Fast and the Furious" movies Lol! Not to mention he can't use the stick shift for beans.
Yeah, well, whatever. Oh, come on! No-one loves him for his acting! He's never going to be Philip Seymour Hoffman now, is he? He's just some great eye candy. Lets not complicate things. EDIT: Must admit, never noticed his gear changing talents. Must have been busy looking at something else, like ummm......... yeah, his face, that's it. Yeah. Okay, then. IP: Logged |
