Yeah, now only to find a writer. Will an actor do? Robert could hide his scripts under there as we go through customs. IP: Logged |

I would love a nice pair of t!ts. I will always pass the pencil test as there is actually nowhere to put the pencil, it's like looking at a boy. Shame. Although I think I'd like some nicer legs more. I have no t!ts and my bloke has the biggest nose outside of Israel but hey, we fancy each other. It's the imperfections that do it for me anyway. IP: Logged |

Yeah, I like imperfections too. What's a prison sentence or two, or a really apalling home made sex tape, or some disorderly public behaviour or a phone throwing incident, or.......... oh, we weren't talking about THOSE kind of imperfections. Right. Yeah, it's the little quirks that make the person. The scar or the mark or whatever. I quite like the quirks. IP: Logged |

wheelsTrust me. Be happy with your man boobs. Big boobs - horrible - uncomfortable. They walk into the room 5 minutes before you. That's what people notice about you. Hate it. IP: Logged |

I feel in the mood for a silly quiz. There is only room for 3 in the balloon. Which one do you kick out? Ice-cream: Vanilla, chocolate, strawberry and raspberry ripple. A bottle of: champagne, vodka, red wine and gin. Holiday ticket for a weekend in: Oslo, New York, Cairo or Vienna. The promise to star with the your favourite actor as the leading lady in: Wuthering Heights, the End of the Affair, Love Story, Dr Zhivago. IP: Logged |

Imperfections ~ that was another comment Will Self made in his Big Issue article. He says smooth skin and thick hair looks doll-like and unlived in the older he gets. He likes lived in faces. But there's nothing like being able to bond with someone ~ as Lexx put it, "if you click, you click". Just to click with someone, feel like you have reached a level of human understanding. Who cares what you both look like, it is all gloss. IP: Logged |

Icecream: I'd kick out strawberry. I don't like strawberries much really. I'd probably kick raspberry ripple too, ditto. Booze: I'd kick out champagne, as it's the first drink I ever got drunk on and I was sick as a dog. Unfortunately my sick smelled of Marmite as I'd had a sandwich too, and now I can't even smell champagne, it smells of Marmite to me. Must be some reptilian brain thing going on there. Holiday ticket for a weekend in: I'd have to kick out Cairo. I'm interested in Egypt loads but I prefer the others, especially Oslo. The promise to star with the your favourite actor as the leading lady in: I'd kick out Wuthering Heights as all the characters in it are just annoying. Top marks for Dr Zhivago. Me and Jake in Dr Zhivago, nom nom. Cool quiz Ms BM.

Easy. Strawberry. Love the real deal. Hate the artificial stuff. quote: A bottle of: champagne, vodka, red wine and gin.
Don't drink. But, for the game - red wine. It's good in cooking, though. quote: Holiday ticket for a weekend in: Oslo, New York, Cairo or Vienna.

Maid In Manhattan. Oh, sorry, it wasn't there. Okay then - Love Story. IP: Logged |

I'm going to chuck out the chocolate ice-cream and the champagne. The other 2 questions are much harder. I am going to eliminate Cairo on the grounds that I have visited it and have happy memories. I would love to go to Vienna or Oslo. I feel the need to go back to NYC as I went before the towers went down and stayed in a hotel opposite. The film. Mmm. Love Story, that's traumatic. But I don't know. I don't know. Maybe that one, but it is tough. I could put my heart and soul into acting all of those. O.K, Dr Zhivago goes out of the balloon. I am reading a large tome about repression in the Stalinist era and it is just hard to get my mind around the sufferings of the people, it not being a lack of freedom and want I have ever experienced. The other roles are more accessible on an emotional level. Long-winded thinking aloud answer. Sorry for that. IP: Logged |

Yeah, nothing beats the energy of two people who click. Regardless of any other factor. Very sexy. I like a good mental match - lots of mutual laughing, witty exchange and sparks flying everywhere. Nothing sexier than that.IP: Logged |

Just this last offering to time-waster's corner and I will go and do some work. I promise (myself). Question 1. You have a little bit of a crush on someone who pays you an unexpected compliment. Which compliment would you secretly find the most flattering: A) I admire your command of the English language B) Your partner is a lucky wo/man C) You look nice today, that outfit really suits you Question 2. Which tactful suggestion are you most likely to hear from your best friend? A) Is that suitable work attire? B) Do you fancy coming down the gym with me some time? C) I understand why you feel upset, but do you think maybe you should reword that letter to your mother, just slightly? Question 3.
Someone has offfered you up a character assassination. Some of it is true, but much of it was unfair. You said your piece at the time but now you need to unwind. What music do you play to work out your feelings? A) Something loud and aggressive with pointed lyrics. B) Something melancholy, dark or sentimental. C) Something cheerful, humorous and maybe a little sarcastic. Question 4. Everyone has their foibles. But if there is one thing you couldn't stand to in a long-term partner what would it be? A) A negligent partner, someone focused on their career or own interests in a self-absorbed way that means you are left on your own for large periods of time. B) A possessive partner, who keeps checking up on what you are doing. They're not violent, they're very respectful and loving, they are just a little on the jealous side by inclination. C) A slovenly partner, who seems to let their appearance slide and doesn't make much effort to achieve anything in life. Sometimes you feel taken for granted. Question 5.
Someone tells you something about yourself that you don't like it. Which one would upset you most because that's not the person you want to be? A) You are an underachieving slacker who needs to sort your life out. And you could make more effort with your appearance. B) You are neglecting your friends to pursue your own interests. Frankly, you are getting a little selfish. C) You don't listen to anyone else's point of view. You seem to have lost the ability to understand how other's feel. IP: Logged |

Wow bm! Cool questions. How much time did you have for this? It's like a novel. I'd like to see your written works, by the way. As stated in the other thread, or somewhere, bet you're a brilliant writer. Question 1. You have a little bit of a crush on someone who pays you an unexpected compliment. Which compliment would you secretly find the most flattering: B) Your partner is a lucky wo/man Question 2.

bmIn astro forum. Lara has taken offense to something she thought I did but actually didn't and has asked we ignore each other - which I think is a great idea, but continues to engage me in conversation. And am I supposed to reply? I don't know. Let it sort itself out. Best to focus on things that actually matter to me, I think. Like being here. IP: Logged |

Yeah, wise thought, let it lie and have a laugh on here instead. How long did it take me to write? The amount of time it would have taken to put the clothes away that are waiting patiently to be carried to their drawers. Pah, whatever. 1. Flattering compliment, I like A, but then I like B. I'd rather get admiration for being able to do something than looking nice. O.K, A. 2. Is that suitable work attire? 3. Character assassination: Something loud and aggressive with pointed lyrics. 4. I don't think I could cope to live with a jealous and possessive person. 5. I'd be upset if I told I wasn't understanding. I get upset when I read on here that water people have no feelings or no sense of empathy. IP: Logged |

Interesting that we all chose different music.Yeah, I get you bm about the possessive/jealous partner. Mr PA, although with Pisces Venus, Cancer AC, Scorpio Mars, Capi Sun, is quietly possessive - but with Aqua Moon gives a lot of space. He likes to have his space to get his head around work and I like mine so I can be here, etc. It's just nice not having someone checking on you all the time. But if we're out and there's eye contact with someone, he gives those if looks could kill looks. IP: Logged |
