Thing is, sometimes I sleep and earn a living.

And then there is the time-zone issue.

I think DD should be a mod.

She will kill me now for saying that.

It just needs consistent watching and the occasional telling people to shut up.

A bit of sunburn on the chest area?

I need to look close-up to work it out.

*sigh* Got to go now and do parental things.

Back in a bit.

I agree about DD being a Mod. Definitely. Don't know if she'd be into it though. She certainly has a way with words.

Yeah, I have family duties to attend to as well. Kids are back to school tomorrow. Have to be washed and polished, and bags packed, etc, this evening.

Back shortly too.

Anyone familiar with this?

It sounds like a DD kinda thing.

quote:
... In the fascinating writings of Helen Adams Garrett, The Karmic Horoscope, she utilized the Sun/Moon midpoint in a big way! She used it as what she called the "Karmic Degree" and with it formed a totally new chart, placing the Sun/Moon midpoint where the Ascendant degree normally goes.

http://thezodiac.com/sun.htm

The same page links to this ..

quote:

From the alchemical writing "Theatrum Chemicum" (1613 AD)
Volume IV, XV Duodecim tractatus de lapide philosophorum, Anonymous

An excerpt as quoted by Carl Jung in his book Aion:

the aqua rosis nostri (water of our dew), whose "mother is the midpoint of the heavenly and earthly Sun and Moon."

But so what does this mean?

In this tractatus (treatise) the anonymous alchemist has been speaking about the properties of the "philosopher's stone." ....

The author has further (in this passage) equated the much sought after "philosopher's stone" with the aqua rosis nostri (water of our dew).

In alchemy, the royal marriage of the Sun (heavenly) and Moon (earthly) was the final transformation stage whereby the end product (i.e. gold) could be created. Out of the Sun/Moon conjunctio (the philosopher's stone), the alchemist's work of transforming base metals into gold can be finally be completed. The coming together of the Sun (heavenly) and Moon (earthly) is the mother which gives birth to the philosopher's stone.

.......

The marriage (conjunctio) of the Sun and Moon - the coming together of heaven and earth - results in the philosopher's stone that in turn gives one the ability to transform spiritual lead and give birth to spiritual gold. Spiritual gold can potentially be created in our lives by the alchemical "coming together" of the combined energies (midpoint) of the Sun and the Moon.

As my Moon is conjunct Christian Bale's Sun, yeah, no objections there.

Royal marriage, you mean?

With all the kerfuffle on the boards over fluff like the Middle Eastern situation in the light of the Presidential inaugerations, and the identity of women in a socio-economic global context, you would think someone would have mentioned the big news story of the week:

Chelsy has dumped Harry!

LOL! Never did like Harry much. Ulike his older brother Harry seems distant from his responsibilities. His older brother on the other hand... One can expect greater things from him.

Don't write Harry off just yet. He'll do great things. Watch this space. He's made to be a humanitarian, not a soldier. He can outdo his mother there.

Ah David Wenham.

Yes. Definitely hold a soft spot for him. He's really lovely. Should check out the synastry actually. Celebmatch.com rates us at 98% or somewhere around there.

Aw, poor broken-hearted Harry. He does take his soldiering seriously, to be fair. And of course my motherly instincts go into over-drive thinking of the poor lad following his mother's gun-carriage.

Besides, I like ginger hair.

p.s

Disappointed Puss couldn't work out where her quarry had dissappeared to ~ but Tweety had been liberated out of the bathroom window.

Tweety's feathers have been collected and taken to Show and Tell ~ where there will no doubt be a grisly story to go with it. There was practicising of Tweety's anguished squeaks on the way to school.

PA & BM:

He probably does have the postential but he personally hasn't shown it to me yet. I'll give him credit for time served in Afganistan but he is still a bit of a bucking Bronco as of this moment. But that could change .

WOC:

Thankyou so much for your well wishes mon ami .

ROFL.

The joy of parenthood. When someone recounts their own story and you relate and laugh as if it were your own.

David Wenham and I are off to a good start. A double whammy of Saturn conjunct Amor. What do you think? One of them is on my North Node. Ooh, Pluto conjunct Sun. His Pluto and Uranus conjunct my South Node. Have to go back and read notes from yesterday. Oops! Mars opposite Mars. That's a good place to stop then.
