As the Rebel Forces appear to be well represented I submit my candidacy as diplomatic envoy for the Imperial Fleet. My name is Capitan Juno Eclipse. I would post my pic, but the Godzala thread fried my virtual memory. I feel well able to fill the post as Natal Juno trines Uranus. Sun conj Hades, Pluto in a toasty aspect with Mars.IP: Logged |

nobody really gets a lot done. he gets my vote. and i don't know how many times I ask a question and nobody answers, or when stuff gets broke and nobody always knows who did it. although nobody also is famous for leaving empty 12 packs of pop in the fridge, other than that one vice, he really gets the job done.IP: Logged |

lara i have read david icke. by his own definition he is working for the bad guys. though he says he is exposing them he is just whipping up fear and terror in the way he does it. he has a lot of facts and is good at tying them together.i happen to know people who worked at bohemian grove. girls. their tales are pretty disgusting, but they are not about satanic rituals and mind/sex slavery. they are about a bunch of fat cats who fancy themselves behaving badly, but no one was coerced in any way... that said it is hard to be autonomous in this society whether you are president or peon...and in england too! aren't there cameras everywhere? did you vote for them? i know my cancer survivor sisterinlaw didn't vote to have the national health reduced the way it has been, and more to come...when i lived in england was when i gave up going to doctors, it was such a hassle with the red tape etc even though i had a GREAT GP..the result has been amazing...i have hardly been sick in 12 years!! which reminds me of a bumper sticker which says "the american way of healthcare - just say no to illness!" quote: Xodian, you are doing a great job. A good premptive strike can work wonders. Your suspicions are well-founded, because Rogue-Shmuck is actually Paras. I'm sure many of us (far more people than recall any past suspicions that I an J-dog are the same) can recall the trouble he has caused in the past.
So we have another split personality situation here. Then I am sure Mr. Rouguey would love an extended break from LL. Zala: LMAO! C3PO?! Me???? Zalakins, I don't do wimpiness well . If I were a robot I would go with this guy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ep0CgHOVx60 IP: Logged |

I thought Mike Gravel would have been a revolutionary choice. He wanted to make real changes, like giving voters the right to make laws: http://www.ni4d.us/ Although Ron Paul impressed me, too, I responded more to his decency and composure than his policies. I dunno what to make of Icke, but I would need to see some hard evidence before I would seriously entertain the notion of reptillians. When someone makes an apparently flimsy and outrageous claim like that, I cant really be bothered to hear the rest of what they have to say. There are too many good teachers out there to waste time on what looks to me like sensationalism and New Age cliches. Alex Jones... I think 9/11 was almost definitely an inside job, and I think there are definitely all sorts of under-the-table shady dealings at the top. But Jones' unrelentingly obnoxious, p!ssed-off, pitbull voice just grates my nerves (and my spirit). Can't listen. As for Obama..... The jury is still out for me. He is not the rebel Gravel is, thats for sure. I think he's too conservative to see the big picture, but I do have some hope that he's not a mere puppet. Judging from what little I have heard, closing Guantanamo and other things he's done can seem like slight-of-hand tricks. For one thing, the prisoners were not charged or released, under the laws of the Constitution, which apply to criminals in the U.S. Instead, thats still up in the air, and they are relying on the military manual, which is a little sketchy on the particulars... Also, there are other off-shore bases just like Guantanamo that remain operational. All suggesting that this is not as rosy as we are asked to believe. Ultimately, I wonder if we can really know who to believe (beside Nobody). If I didnt see the news myself as it errupted, and if i did not see for myself all the surrounding curcumstances... In the end, what can I do but take somebody's word for it? Lastly, I believe the bombing of Pakistan was the main point Lara raised, but people's objections seem to have skirted around this, and focused on everything other than this point. Why did he bomb Pakistan? What is the official reasoning? Is it tenable? Does anybody care to go there and address this issue? I dont know enough about it, but I can see that it was the main point in this thread, and it was pretty much completely ignored. Its too bad people get so worked up and things get all personal, and people start taking sides and defending things their "allies" say that are worse than the things they pounce on when they "enemies" say them. Got objectivity? Oh, and I liked what AG and Got Gemini? had to say, for the most part. Other than that... I think I'd like to be an Ewok. peace, love, enantiodromia, HSC

I personally didn't hear about Obama bombing Pakistan on day one, but if it's true, it's merely a continuation of Bush policy, and one that Obama said was possible (or even likely) during his campaign. His stated support for acting on terrorist intelligence within Pakistan (in the absense of Pakistan taking action itself) is why Jwhop deemed Obama "O'bomber" even though this has been Bush's policy as well.IP: Logged |

Lara,I'm sorry to hear you've lost family members in Pakistan If you want to discuss this topic further, why not post your "question" in GU, where you can get serious responses?? *That* is the place for politics -- global or other -- and USA-bashing. You claimed ignorance before (on this being the correct forum for your post) -- so, now you know. IP: Logged |
