Whoa. Assuming intelligent life picks that up AND translates it...Are they gonna assume we KNEW they were there? What if it's deemed insulting, that THEIR food sucks, so they should cross the vast gulf of space to our world to get some REAL food? It would probably come off as very alien to them. Heck, it comes off as very alien to me! 'Course, it would be funny if in retrospect it turns out that we've been getting advertisements from other worlds for decades now but have been too stupid to know it. IP: Logged |

haha! "we're assuming they should be able to figure out it's intelligent"...? a DORITOS ad?? couldn't they start with something a bit of substance, lie "we love you" even?? it has to be an ad for cardboard chips??the bit about the electrons kind of reminds me of twin souls though...and why really we ARE ALL soulmates ultimately. did you know that as big as the universe is and as small as we are in comparison, we are right in the middle as far as size goes of - things - in the universe, in other words there as many things smaller than us as bigger...double mindboggle! which one cosmologist points out makes us the "ACTUAL center of the universe..." and crucial to its existence!IP: Logged |
