I had an interest in the whole Kinsey Report/Sexual 'Revolution'thing recently and came across a documentary I believe was originally aired by the History Channel and then uploaded onto youtube. The uploader however has added his own commentary throughout the show which quite blatantly points out how unfair he feels the documentary is towards pedophiles.

AND that we should accept that its as NATURAL as normal sex is to us

I'm a bit torn over this matter. On one hand I'm all for sick @ssholes openly displaying how sick they are so that we can all see and learn and know who they are. On the other I want an angrymob to tar, feather, draw and quarter this kiddie-molester and send his limbs to every corner of the country.

Perhaps at the very least, we can all report him to youtube and demand that he be charged and investigated as to his ...sexual history which may involve a few children ?

Its bad enough we have Paedophile evangelists like NAMBLA having " How to go about it " on their site and convicted pedos saying thats where they learnt the ART.

Material gets removed from YouTube all the time for copyright infringement. Maybe this offering should go the same way. Not seen it, but it does sound unsavoury from what you report.

I'm not so convinced by the mob lynching theory. It's not really the kind of society I want to live in. Hysteria can set in and the wrong person can get targeted. This can head down the territory where looking slightly foreign can be enough, history is littered with deeply unpleasant examples of this phenomenon.

There is an intresting chapter in The New Absolutes by William D Watkins, on the Kinsey report and how skewed it was. One problem being that most of the people interviewed were prisoners, many for sexual crimes.
One paragraph goes on to describe some of the findings he had on childhood sexuality. I find it too disqusting to copy here, but the point of it being in the book was that it must have been anecdotal from pedophiles or Kinsey and his researchers got their data first hand, which is baisically criminal activity.
Anyway I think this book has an intresting view on Kinsey that isn't heard too often.

What was the point being made? (I watched it and wasn't sure.) Was it that children can enjoy sex, and therefore should be "sexually available" to adults? If so, how does that follow?

I can agree that there's too much puritanism at work, and that children (even fetuses) are more sexual than many seem to realize, but that's irrelevant to why I think that adult-child sex should be taboo.

If they think children are ready for adult relationships, then why aren't they out trying to lower the age of majority, which would have the side effect of legalizing a lot of sex with currently underage kids? They'd be more likely to get support, and there's enough history of kids not only acting as adults, but brilliant ones in the past.

That the majority of pedos (and the ones into underage teens, I forget what they're technically called) want to be able to pursue them sexually but without empowering them to act confidently as adults in other ways is pretty telling in my book. I expect kids who were empowered as adults (and so couldn't be so easily manipulated or worse by them) would probably be a disaster as far as the ones horny over them are concerned. It might even defeat the very purpose of why those that age are preferred by such people.

Freedom of speech. Talking about it is one thing, actually doing it is quite another.

Pedophilia is like any other fetish except that it involves an unconsenting individual (well that and rape fantasies).

I didn't actually watch the video, but children do have sexualities. I do NOT condone adults preying on children who are not fully aware of their sexualities or ready to do something as emotional as engaging in sexual activities.
