Hmm, Meta,I`m pretty fiery myself. Sun, Mercury, Mars, Neptune, NN and ASC in Sagittarius in 1st house, even though Sag is probably the least fiery of the fire signs. BUT the dispositor of these Sag-planets is in Pisces, the dispositor of my Moon is Uranus in Scorpio or Saturn in Cancer, and the dispositor of my Venus is Saturn in Cancer. So apparently, behind the fiery surface, there is a bit of water hiding. IP: Logged |

WEll, seems PA`s Moon-dispositor is slightly different to ours. Me: Dispositor in Scorpio (Uranus) and Cancer (Saturn)
Meta: both dispositors in Capricorn (no wonder you love that Capricorn so much!) Lexx: Dispositor in Cancer (Uranus) and Scorpio (Saturn) PA: Dispositor in Libra (Uranus) and Taurus (Saturn) Meta`s, Lexx`s and my Moon-ruler are completely made of Yin-energies (Water and Earth), while PA`s main Moon-ruler is in Air. It`s like our Moons are a mix up of these energies: Mine: Uranus - Pluto - Moon Meta`s: Uranus - Saturn - Saturn Lexx: Uranus - Moon -Pluto (seems we have a really similiar Moon in that regard, Lexx) PA: Uranus - Venus - Venus If you read that, you can FEEL t he difference, right? PA is probably the most outgoing of all of us (Uranus- Venus), while the rest of us has to balance some inner contradiction (Uranus doesn`t really get along easily with neither Moon nor Pluto nor Saturn). Of course Venus and Uranus are antipodes, too, as Uranus strives for independence and Venus for relationship. But all in all I say Meta, Lexx and me have more introverted Moons. IP: Logged |

Thanks darkdreamer for the analysis! And: quote: But all in all I say Meta, Lexx and me have more introverted Moons.
Is that why in my offline life I tend to be very reclusive and very protective of my privacy and do not enjoy crowds, wild loud parties, and so forth?IP: Logged |

I can understand that. Introverted, Water/Earthy Moons. Thanks for the wondeful interp/investigation DD. You're brilliant, as usual! But... ha, not to bust up the mood but... what are Moon-dispositors??? What does that mean? IP: Logged |

Lexx, well, those Moon dispositors may contribute to your aversion to loud parties (I have this myself as well - I really don`t enjoy large crowds, they unnerve me and even scare me). But you also have Sun; Mercury and Venus in Scorpio, so that could contribute to it as well. Meta, " But... ha, not to bust up the mood but... what are Moon-dispositors??? What does that mean?" Moon-Dispositors are the planetary ruler of your Moon sign. Moon in Aquarius; Aquarius is ruled by Uranus (and Saturn) and now you can look where Uranus and SAturn are placed in your chart. The sign will colour how you express your Moon along with the main sign Aquarius. Like in your case you have MOon in Aquarius with a Capricorn overtone. It might even explain some attractions, and other things. Example: I have very much fire in my chart, but for a long time I identified more with the element "water"; and as it is all my personal planets have a water overtone (all dispositors are in Pisces, SCorpio and CAncer). So for myself I can definitely say that those dispositors are an added influence. It`s also interesting in synastries. I once had a vehement crush on someone, but there were no aspects that really explained that. Well, there was this exact Venus-Jupiter-opposition that stood out, but somehow it felt more personal thatn Jupiter aspects are being given credit for. However, of course Jupiter is the dispositor of my Mars; so you could say that my Mars-ruler was opposing his Venus, which somehow described my emotional reaction better than a mrere Venus-Jupiter-opposition. lol I think those dispositors may be one of the reasons why we react differently to certain aspects in synastry. For example: Usually Mercury or Jupiter aspects are not said to be very romantic or passionate. But ask someone with Moon, VEnus, Mars or ASC in Sagittarius, Gemini or Virgo about it, and you might get a different answer than from the rest of the world. To me dispositors seem to signify some kind of a layer that lies beneath the surface of the planet in signs; but it is not subconscious, just an adding to it. IP: Logged |

BM,does it resonate with you? Well, I think, we probably shouldn`t over-emphasize the dispositors, probably they really just add a flavour, a nuance and are subtle, but we should not completely ignore them either. They do allow us to see a chart (or synastry) from a different angle. IP: Logged |

Doesn't it depend on how deep you go? My Virgo Moon's dispositor is Mercury, which is in Sag; Sag disposits to Jupiter, and Jupiter to Saturn.IP: Logged |

Hmmm.....I took it 8 times, changing my choices that were about equal. In 6 out of 8 I came out chocolate and 2 out of 8 chili pepper. I did not choose satin. And no matter what season, and same for a few other answers. I still got chocolate 6 out of 8 times.

Oh it resonates. Venus is my Moon dispositor, but doesn't have its own being in its own sign. Like I say it is sat on the Descendant. I bother more about other people's feelings than my own. Sometimes I end up having to explain this which I find a little weird, though astrology aside I think that may also be the mindset difference between a mother with a job and a man focused on his career. I was going to say I'm actually quite introverted, but that's not the case. I think to say that I'm highly introspective is more accurate and honest. But my personality is like Robert Downey Jr on acid. I have to pull my personality back. With Sun, Venus & Mercury in the 1st house and Sun conjunct Ascendant, I'm no wallflower and can be too overwhelming for mere mortals. quote: Of course Venus and Uranus are antipodes, too, as Uranus strives for independence and Venus for relationship.
I prefer to see Venus as being about love. But in the 1st house I would translate that as my primary relationship being with myself. Then Uranus is conjunct Descendant, therefore, opposing AC (in Aries) so a balance of dependence/independence is a constant theme. IP: Logged |

You're a Vanilla bean lalalinda! I love Vanilla beans so...if we had a good bottle of Vodka and some instant coffee we could make Kahlua and then, Black Russians.

Jwhop got the 69th post. How appropriate for a chili pepper! And that chili pepper infused alcoholic drink sounds pretty delicious. I sometimes throw some cayenne in my coffee, so I can imagine. IP: Logged |

Along with all the other things I've had to teach you acoustic, it now appears I must teach you how to count as well. How fortunate for you that I'm not charging you by the lesson. Cayenne in your coffee sounds medicinal. Should clear up post nasal drip. Btw, an ounce of Kahlua in a cup of coffee IS delicious, especially if that Kahlua is made with the right Vanilla Bean. Post (or should I say "reply") 72:(Cayenne's good for you no matter how you take it. In a drink it's great for a sore throat. In fact, I doubt there's anything better for sore throat relief than cayenne.) IP: Logged |

It doesn't take long to get someone to love you. Chocolate and chilli are good. Huh jwhop, huh?
