I noticed having read through the previous pages, that PA wanted AG to dress up a Princess Leia in the Jabba the Hut outfit.

Well, I know it's not the Jabba outfit, it's me in my dressing gown, New Year's Eve 2001. Those are real Danish Pastries sewn on to my wig. (My friends are Father Ted and Mrs Doyle).

to you DD

How have you been my sweet? How has life been treating you this week?

It sucks having to deal with these kinds of people, very sad indeed but karma comes back to them & it ain't pretty is it?

I was reminded of this by my inner voice this week as I was mulling over her relationship with this new guy - I can already see the bad karma having to be dealt with here, I almost feel sorry for her but on the other hand I am reminded that she will learn her lesson via her own personal mirror = The BF. & I am also reminded that I need not fear a new relationship as it will not be like my previous one. My good karma is coming to me. So I will continue to hope & leave my friend to hers. I know it sounds cold but I am feeling & seeing the necessary separation of our close bond & relationship altogether. Part of me is sad but I know it's just preparation for what is too come for the both of us, so I'm happy too.

......*shivers down the spine*...I think I've found one of Meta's previous incarnations...

Dumfries, 1689, Margaret Roddan is guilty of fornication with Thomas Paterson, "she is appointed to appear at the public place of repentance (p.15) and fined £3 Scots" but "some doubts arise because of his great age and indisposition".

Grandad shagging through the ages....maybe that's Rafe in a previous life, bet if you put him under a swinging watch he'd come up with this story.

where is Meta, anyway? she has been quiet of late

Hmmm...

I'm inclined to give Spunk's roommate more of the benefit of the doubt. I don't think moodiness necessitates that there's something wrong or that she's upset at something.

I've got three planets in Sag, and I can be very moody around the house with the only reason being that I don't want conversation. It doesn't mean that I've got an issue with my roommate, except in that he likes to talk, and maybe I don't want to entertain conversation. Being someone who's quit smoking as well, I might save up my attempt at pleasantness for someone I care for more than my roommate.

That said, if you were to engage her in conversation, I'm sure she could figure out something to critique as Mutables can almost always find something to criticize. Nothing is ever perfect.

Of course I don't know the whole story, so I could be way off base. I'm just giving my perspective based on what little I know.

Thanks for the though AG, it's sweet that you gave it condideration. to fill you in though...
A. I am the non talker of the house.
B. We aren't just roomies, we are meant to be besties & have seen each other through some major crap over the last few years.
C. She can talk under water with a mouth full of marbles & if you wait for her to take a breath you will be a very old person indeed.

If our relationship was just that of roomies I wouldn't be so ****** off.

Get what I mean?

Just read the news about the school shooting in Germany and want to hear from DD and know she's okay.

Sorry, I've been a stranger all week. Lots of studies. And tiredness. 9 assignments due tomorrow, handed in yesterday. A zillion due Monday - only one more to go.

Speak with you soon.

DD - Lets us know you're okay - please. There's a message at Psyche as well.

Very perceptive of you Mr AG. How bad is it that you know my usual habits! I will have to be wary wary careful around you.

It is very early for me. About now it is 7.53 am & I really should be writing out my boy's lunch order for school.

Somebody spank me....

PA,

I just wanted to write about that shooting at the German school, but you have been faster than me - as usual.

Yes, I´m okay. It`s happened not even close to where I live.
So I am pretty okay, but of course I do feel very shocked, too.
I can`t even express how much this pains me.

It also made me being aware, that maybe we have been pretty lucky at our own school.
Well, in the school I am now in, there has been a warning of such a shooting a year or so ago. Apparently it has "just" been a joke. But we had the police in school for days. Doesn`t really make you feel safe. However luckily nothing happened.

And on the other school, I had been before, a pupil had been caught with a revolver by a teacher. He obviously just wanted to show it to the other pupils, and well, the headmaster of that school dealt with it quickly and without many people taking notice.

I know it`s nothing compared to the horrible thing that happened at that school, but it made me pretty aware that anything can happen at anytime.

But what is it about all those people running amok lately? Is it only me or have there been more news like this (family tragedies and such school-shootings).

Oh and here, pretty close to where I live, in Cologne, the building of the historical archives broke down, taking two other houses with them, and costing the lives of two young men. A massive building just crumbling to dust (like in the tarot car "The tower").

Oh and what is about those sporty young men dying of heart attacks on the soccer field? The youngest one was only 20 years old!
I think the news told about at least 4 or 5 of these deaths in the last weeks.

What the **** is going on in this world?

No = no personal chef....Just a ham & salad sandwich. lol.

DD

I too have been shocked at the deaths happening at the moment....Building collapses, people falling, children being killed & of course the rampage that just happened in Alabama. So very sad.

It must make you think...being a teacher yourself. I don't know what's going through the heads of kids these days. I just don't have the words.

Good to hear from you. Thank you for telling us.

Such a terrible, shocking thing. I can't believe that this happens. To say it's saddening is a huge understatement.

I'm glad you're okay- but I can imagine still very shocking for you. I have to take the kids to school. Busy day. Speak with everyone later.

Thanks for all your compassion. I myself feel really bad about it. I don`t know, I`m not even personally involved (thank God), but still I feel very much affected by it.
But that is one thing I have noticed, the more I open up to the world around me, the more I start feeling "the pain of the world" again. I can`t describe it really. It`s just like in those situations I can feel "their" pain, even though of course not as intense and acute, but a muffled pain still hurts.

It`s interesting it is often said that you get "tough", when you grow up and leave your puberty, but it doesn`t work for me.
Still don`t have any effective defensive mechanism in that regard.

I understand what you're saying. Over time - and this is where an Aquarius Moon helps - you learn to distance yourself - not necessarily emotionally, but personally - somehow. My mother thinks I'm very cold, but she doesn't know me. I'm very warm and, I think I'm compassionate, but just accept that some things just are what they are and happen - without being apathetic about it, hopefully.

I think this situation hits home with you particularly for very obvious reasons. I've often wondered how some New Yorkers feel working in skyrise buildings since 9/11. Some things affect you more personally than others because you find yourself in a similar situation. When I read those horrible stories of child abuse, I feel gutted. As a parent, I can only shake my head and just - nothing - what do you say?

The impression that I get from American TV and movies is that American schools all have sit-down eat-in cafeterias. We don't have those here. We have a canteen where the food is prepared and handed out to the kids at a designated time. But you have to order it. The people preparing the food are volunteers - mothers, on a roster. If you don't hand in that order before a certain time - oh - it's like the soup Nazi from Seinfeld.

spunky

I ran out of lunch bags this morning. LOL. Of course, we were running very late today. Got to school late and the mums were already taking the food out of the freezer. Many humble apologies were heard coming out of my mouth this morning.

Oh PA I feel for you there. Must NEVER EVER EVER run out of lunch bags OMG. It's not worth the trouble, lol.

Although we have very nice & understanding mum's at the canteen here, the office ladies, on the other hand, oi! It's like walking to the electric chair! They hate me but atleast I'm not alone.

So how's things with you? you didn't get my email?

so what is this whole godzala thing? there's been a bunch of godzala threads and I don't get it, what's the idea?
you speak like your going to write a story or a play featuring lindaland members as characters, and then everyone comments on this theoretical story and posts a lot of pictures.. I don't get it.

Is there somewhere in the middle a single post with the whole story in it, just so hard to find because everyone comments anticipating it?
