PA - I flicked through the book this morning. It's quaint.... I can't read a lesbian book that's quaint. It has to be hot, spicy, graphic, risque, exciting!!!!!! Oh well, at least it has an interesting cover! IP: Logged |

I believe there could be, and may likely be life elsewhere in the universe. I can also conceive of them possibly finding a way to visit us, but I draw the line at the notion that they're walking amongst us...unless we're them, in which case it's been a long time since we arrived.IP: Logged |

Koi,interesting that you mentioned that. Just the minute before I started reading your reply I thought about how it seems to have been only men running amok like this. And yes it feels of course closer if it happens in your own country; however, there is something more than shock or compassion. Deeds like that instill fear in other people, and yes, I can`t say I am immune to that. And I really really dislike that; that we should be afraid something like this can happen. And I also dislike it that I am so prone to this negative emotion. And fear may be the emotion I am very sensitive to. I`m not really in great danger of developing feelings of hate or greed or even jealousy / envy or something like that. But fear, well, that is a very familiar feeling. Especially in connection to (large) group of people, especially with youths. It must sound ironic that I have become a teacher then. lol I guess beside everything else those events bring back these memories of some very unpleasant situations. Even though definitely not comparable, but my very own confrontations with "power" and (threats of) violence probably never have been really healed.

AG,yes, I think that is where I am standing right now, even though i usually doesn`t take much to make me doubt my own thoughts again. You know that is the problem with a mother who taught you to ALWAYS see through the other one`s eyes first and take and value their perspective: it becomes very hard to develop a perspective of my own. Sometimes I wish I had more fixed signs in my chart, so I could see the world in black and white and draw a line between true and not true, absolutes, you know? Except for that I neither can understand nor really accept absolute thinking, cause then you will start being narrowminded, judgemental... Ah, I guess I am doing it again, switching perspectives. So, I very much like what you said. Short, poignant, convincing. IP: Logged |

Your superhero is cool, Koi. I tried to create one, too. It was fun. So here`s my first attempt (and now everyone will see how colourblind I am. lol)
I wonder if your selfcreated superhero sais something about your psyche. I hope not.

My LindaLand was down for quite awhile. Everyone else have the same issue?DD, I'm glad you enjoy my concise manner. For some it's annoying. It's my Saturn opposite Mercury. Koi, good job on Intel Angel. DD, your superhero looks sufficiently Sagittarian for certain. Powerful thighs, and the wrist bands really add a nice touch. I'm also technically colorblind, though in practicality mine affects very little. LEXX, I wasn't sure if I'd make it through the whole video, but I did. I think the lip syncing guy held my attention there long enough. Ok, time to check out the superhero creator...

Ok, so I made a silly one. He's definitely in a league of his own...probably the handsome moustache league. If he were in a film he'd be played by this guy: IP: Logged |

Nice! I don't think I figured out how to save it (maybe it is). I tried everything to get the picture. I tried downloading it, but it would come up with an error every time. I tried emailing it to myself, but the emails never showed up. Eventually, I just took the hard way, and did a print screen, and cropped it in a graphics program. It looks like you got to do the background, too. I didn't figure that part out. I think yours is a pretty good depiction of your nature. A mix of naughty and nice. IP: Logged |

I really tried with my heroine, I put myself up there so to speak & went ok If I was a Super Hero what would I wear? and all fell into place.
Naughty & Nice huh? like a kind hearted working girl you mean? lol. IP: Logged |

A jaunt to Global Unity. A Republican was reveling in the irony of the Democrats now having to defend their President like they did for Bush. I had to note that the irony was on both sides, and remind that for every nasty thing they pull out of the Democrat's handbook in their criticism of Obama, Democrat's can now pull from Bush's handbook just as easily since the shoe is on the other foot. quote: like a kind hearted working girl you mean?
I was thinking more along the lines of angelic minx, but we might be saying the same thing. Because you do seem to have a pronounced caring nature as well as a taste for the naughty. Angel wings and loin cloths...I think that says it all right there. That's you. You'll say a little prayer with the downtrodden, and then you'll offer up a good spanking. IP: Logged |
