As winter approaches in the southern hemisphere this tragic cause is once again brought to our attention. Every day Muppets are slaughtered so that fashionistas all around the world, can look like this: Am I serious? Well, quite honestly, I just wanted to see another topic other than the one dominating this forum on top of the thread list. And yes, that should actually say "Muppetcide". Excuse the s from the c, sometimes a girl just confuses the two. Chit happens! IP: Logged |

Ah, you know what Ariens are like HSC - always willing to take up a good cause. If we don't stop it now, it could be Wallace and Gromit next. Can't have that happening. IP: Logged |

"Wensleydale!"I love Wallace and Grommit. I have a Bowl Chart, and a ton of Aquarius; I need me a cause, too. Still feeling for it in the dark. That's where I want my light to go. IP: Logged |

Dark Side, eh? Hmmm.... Is life that black and white? But, yes, if I remember correctly: He saved his son, killed the Emperor, liberated the universe, and died a martyr's death. IP: Logged |

Yes, indeed he did. Thereby redeeming himself.EDIT: You edited. Yes, well, he did. I'm a bit cynical when it comes to the ending of some movies how the characters redeem themselves in the end. But it's Star Wars. Lets not overanalysis it! Or, if we do - lets meet at the next convention. IP: Logged |

Not a Dylan fan. Definitely a Floyd fan."So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell, Blue skies from pain. Can you tell a green field From a cold steel rail? A smile from a veil? Do you think you can tell?" IP: Logged |

Actually, I don't know if this is who I am or who I want to be. I think I'd be flattering myself to say that I'm there, but at the same time I think that which we desire to be we contain some degree or element within us to recognise it in the first place. But these lyrics - they get me - and the sincerity with which they are sung - touches me to the core. Peter Gabriel, In Your Eyes:"Without a noise, without my pride I reach out, from the inside". In the end of it, we just want others to see us the way we see ourselves. In that secret place inside ourselves where we know all those things that we are - the exceptional things - we just yearn for someone else to see those qualities.I really believe that. IP: Logged |

LOL - Mother. When I was around 17 and going through a very very serious depression, that was one of my favourite songs. It just touched me in some place. Not out of mother complexes, but because of the way Roger Waters sings that.Peter Gabriel has always felt like some kindred spirit for me. I always feel warmly towards him. I'm sure we'd get on quite well if we to ever meet. IP: Logged |
