I think it is more sometimes you need to spend a lot of time on a forum, then your life changes, and you don't need it the same any more. At least I guess that is the case for Peace Angel. But I hope I'm wrong, and that she at least drops by every now and then. I love her sense of humour and found her a wise and kind person. IP: Logged |

You're right, Blue Moon. I can see what you mean about the life changes. This place has been an oasis of sorts for me as well. Currently, not so much.But yes, I do hope she drops in every now and again. I've very much enjoyed her presence among others as well  IP: Logged |

Sometimes there just comes a time when you feel you have to move on.
I have had the feeling myself for some time now, and it probably would be better if I stayed a bit away from here, too. But it`s not easy.Yet, I feel something just has changed, and there has to be a cut of some sorts.
However that cut may look like. I really really enjoyed talking to you all here on Godzala.

It's like the 'collective consciousness' of the group here is shifting in some way. I'm definitely getting ready to go soon and once I move in another 8 weeks I have no idea if I'll be around as often.

Let me just say one thing. If I`m leaving, it will not be because someone is causing drama. That`s just kindergarten and a waste of time. No, the reason is, when I came here, it was very inspiring, astrologically speaking, and that inspiration has gone.
I don`t feel like the astroforum is really about astrology anymore.

Hi kidsI'm afraid that I am pretty much in the same boat as PA & Lara. We all have our own reasons. What are mine? All I can say is that I don't like the vibe here at this time. Which is sad as there are some beautiful people here who I feel quite strongly about. (you know who you are as I have made my feelings clear) I won't say that I won't be back, I'm quite certain that I will pop in from time to time. Yes, maybe you´re right. Maybe I have learned everything I could learn here, in terms of astrology. Even though I feel I still have a lot to learn.However, I also have the (subjective) impression, that there is not much interest in astrology these days (other than that which relates directly and narrowly to one´s own current love / infatuation / soulmate).
It`s absolutely okay to use it for that (I do that myself), but it`s not enough for me. Also, I need start planning that trip in july.  IP: Logged |

DD - this is weird, but I was just thinking a thought, then one second later I read sunshine lions comment! We are always very close in our thinking!!!! It's scary! Or is it astrological..!! My thought was that you're not finding the astro-forum as appealing anymore, because you've learned so much, your mind as graduated with a lot of knowledge and reflective thinking from all the sharing of ideas and evaluating of other people's experiences and idea. I came here to learn about astrology - and learned a lot in a very short time! But the feeling changed for me to as I noticed certain behaviours.But who am I to fully understand this place? I was only here for about 6 months before I noticed certain antics. But because I appreciated the various characters with their quirks, ideas and ideals, I chose to stay, purely out of a curious social desire to get to know different people. My seriousness turned to light-hearted banter. I had learned from the astro-forum , then I began to learn how to loosen up - something I needed to learn how to do. So, I must say it's been fun - learning to laugh again, share a joke, work out different humours. But just like anywhere, you need to be wary. As people become familiar their guards come down, and their typical social (or anti-social) behaviour begins to surface. It's like that anywhere. People are predictable! IP: Logged |
