Hmmm... for some reason I don't think I ever considered the Node's planetary rulers before. I don't get into synastry that much, but just in terms of my own natal, both of my Node's rulers are in Mercury-ruled signs. Seems significant since Mercury is my chart ruler. My North Node's ruler would be Saturn, which is in Gemini in the 1st. My South Node's ruler is the Moon, which is in Virgo in the 4th or 5th depending on which house system is used.

Don't worry. My silence was the result of my absense, not my sensitivity. Those were pretty good. I especially liked the last two for thinking outside the box. I was surprised to learn in High School that I am actually colorblind.

I absolutely agree with your interpretation of Jupiter conjunct IC.
I also think that Jupiter would be very encouraging, soothing and enthusiastic about the IC person, like the IC person couldn`t do anything wrong.
There would also be a lot of humour I think. Jupiter likes having a good time, laughing, eating, enjoying life to the fullest and he will make sure that IC person will experience that sense of expansion, too.
I once read in a book (I think it was by the Forrests) that Jupiter can be your biggest fan, with that optimistic enthusiastic attitude. Well, of course Jupiter knows no measure, he wants everything being bigger than life (and usually Jupiter-people can be big, either physically like I am, or mentally or they need a LOT of space).

Oh and answering to your question in the astr thread.
Jup, I am a big fan of Stargate. I just fell completely, madly and irreversibly in love with Col. O`Neill.
