23,finally I can answer you. "Maybe it's the Saturn conj IC that is doing it to me and my Sun on his MC." Yes, that could very well be. I feel that whatever touches our MC or IC can have a deep impresson on us. And karmic Saturn on karmic IC - well, go figure. "NOTHING happened." That is interesting, and calming and a bit worrying at the same time. On the other hand my Sun-Mercury-conjunction is pretty unaspected, too, except for being conjunct to each other, but I DEFINITELY felt Pluto`s impact in conjunction. But probably we can`t call it unaspected, since the conjunction to each other is present and very exact and on the GC. " Mind you, my Venus is unaspected, so I didn't have the entanglement of squares/oppositions as transits from transiting planets to natal planets." Yes, well, that is a bit alarming though, as Transit Pluto will also square my Plutoa nd MC. Oh and my Moon is unaspected except for an eact quinkunx to Saturn, but still I felt the impact of Tr Uranus conjunct it VERY strongly. Or maybe the quinkunx is a stronger aspect than I have given it credit for and thus the Moon is not really unaspected? "Natally, I have Pluto opp MC. Don't think it really is fatal to me but again I haven't really studied this aspect closely." Funny, and I have Pluto conjunct MC: "I got the Moon-Pluto square coming up in the next few years. Before that Pluto square Pluto." So you have the Moon-Pluto and Pluto-Pluto-square, while I am going to have Venus-Pluto conjunction and Pluto-Pluto square. Since we will have similiar transits regarding the "feeling" planets.
"Kaboom!" Spot on, sister! " The biggies. So what houses do they rule in your natal?" Uranus rules my 3rd house, Neptune rules my 3rd house, too (Pisces is intercepted there) and Pluto rules 11th and 12th house.
So, Uranus and Neptune are currently sitting in my 3rd house and Pluto sits in my 1st house. "everyone of his generation would have Nep in my 7th." Yes, that`s true. That is why I always look out for other aspects to personal planets, which kind of "personalize" a generational planet. In my case my NN is also exactly conjunct his DSC as is my ASC (4 degree) and maybe even Mars (6 degree). His ASC also trines my Pluto. maybe that means that some part of his personality, the way he comes across (which is probably what we are all are reacting to in actors and singers at first, along with the MC), triggers some rather archetypical energies inside me (Neptune and Pluto), and since Neptune and Pluto are personalized in my chart (through Neptune conjunct Mars, ASC and NN and through Pluto on the MC, squaring Venus and sextile ASC and NN), this may have some influence on a part of my personality, too, especially the parts that are relating to relationships or my view on them (ASC, Venus and Mars) or even my lifepath.

"Yes the IC aspect is very familiar indeed! I've noticed that I have my Sun on someone's IC and they are a very open person but I think they might be exceptionally open to me about things probably because of the sense of comfort. Likewise, with his Moon on your IC." So, the IC person would be open and receptive, I guess?Well, I always feel those IC-conjunctions very strongly, even if it is "only" Mercury (but then Mercury rules my 7th house, so it is always a biggie to me). It`s interesting, I am a very defensive person emotionally (retograde Saturn in Cancer in 8th house quinkunx Moon in Aquarius in 2nd house, plus Capricorn Venus square Pluto - doesn`t look so light and easy and breezy, as my Sag-planets would maybe hint at). However, I would have thought that if someone`s planets fall onto my IC, I would get even more defensive and close up, to "protect" my emotional sphere, but actually quite the opposite is true. I tend to involuntarily open up. It`s nothing I can really control, it`s almost a sort of compulsive openness. On top of that ususally those people make me feel more energetic, active, stronger, enthusiastic, passionate and also impatient than I would view myself usually. no wonder, my IC is in Aries!
So if someone has planets at about 5 degree of Aries, I may be an open book to them, if I want it or not. lol Thanks for that very enlightening and fruitful discussion! You`re really an astonishing and talented astrologer, and on top of that you`re a kindhearted, nice, grounded and open person. Just wanted to let you know that I appreciate your input a LOT. And that`s actually a big compliment from an arrogant and "allknowing" Sagittarius like me. Lately when I was looking at some books in the bookstores I often found that I felt like those couldn`t teach me anything anymore, as if I had already left them behind regarding research and interpretation, which made me almost feel guilty (how arrogant am I?). But I always have the feeling I learn a lot from talking to you. And that means a lot to me. So thank you.

For everyone's information:I'm still without internet at home. We're supposed to have it installed Tuesday. My roommate was holding out for service from one company (AT&T), but in the end they just couldn't provide us with service, so now we're going with the cable company. She bought a new wireless router, so I'll probably pick up one of those USB wireless receivers. I'm still not shagging the roommate. Signs point towards her falling for my Navy friend, though that may be an irrational thing to do as he can't seem to help being mean to her. I've mediated a couple times now (Cancer SN), but I've grown tired of it. I was hoping to come to some peace between them, but they either need to explode or come to peace on their own terms. After my last mediation, he showed up spontaneously at our door. He made nice sort of. I was left a little bewildered (he commanded me to take care of her, which didn't sit well with me: not my job, but I played if off as if he were a mafia boss asking me to "take care of her."). So he goes [left]. I made a comment to my roommate that it's a little tough to deal with his constant shifting. She replies, "He likes me." She has no clue of his ranting to me the previous night about how she needs to crack a book instead of worrying constantly about her tv installation (which is why I brought him over in the first place). Night before last she drove 25+ miles to talk with him, only to say next to nothing as he obligingly drove her around for nearly two hours. I should probably provide more details about my Sag/Scorp-Rising friend for better context, but I don't have time. Whatever's going on is strange, and I have a feeling it's going to end with my roommate having hurt feelings. IP: Logged |

I follow tinybuddha, and his singular quote of the day was a good one. I also enjoyed God's baby Jesus story (how he'd give Jesus a bottle filled with water, and Jesus would turn it in to formula). God also had a cool pic of the moon and venus, and he also let his followers know about BBC's Planet Earth series being almost half price at Amazon. This could very well be a god worth following. I looked in to Jesus yesterday, but there was obviously a lot of imposters, so I have decided not to follow Jesus at this time. IP: Logged |

Let's bundle a reply to the both of you!!!!!!! Be careful when you begin to meditate. I was warned that life could change! Here's how the holidays went.... I broke up with my partner. I broke up with my family. I got back with my partner. I have discovered my family are trapped in Alcoholic Roles and are unhealthy to be around. My partner's moods got the better of me, so I'm going to start counselling to see a way out from all this dysfunction!!! I'd love to just live with a cat and my meditation cds at the moment!! Da - daaahhh!!! Thank god for Lindaland. I feel totally sane and happy here IP: Logged |

Thanks spanky!!! Oh well, i may as well get honest about things rather than continual hiding stuff!!It's weird, but I feel like I'm going through a half Saturn Return. Transit Saturn is exactly opposite my natal Saturn by 0*. Transit Saturn is also conjunct my Venus, Uranus and Pluto by 0-2*. Boy oh boy, it hurts!!! I've been plagued by Saturn for a while now - I wish it would just shove off to another part of the sky. But then again, it's here to tell me something. As they say, the Truth hurts. Anyway, I'll just slowly work toward a solution. I love the piccie, spunky!!! IP: Logged |

Sorry, somehow I missed this reply! quote: Oh and my Moon is unaspected except for an eact quinkunx to Saturn, but still I felt the impact of Tr Uranus conjunct it VERY strongly.
Or maybe the quinkunx is a stronger aspect than I have given it credit for and thus the Moon is not really unaspected?
Are you saying that you felt Saturn being quincunxed by t-Ura and that t-Ura was conj your Moon? I'd say any transiting aspect with Uranus would strongly be felt, including any transit between Ura and Saturn because of the "opposing" nature of Ura and Saturn. quote: So you have the Moon-Pluto and Pluto-Pluto-square, while I am going to have Venus-Pluto conjunction and Pluto-Pluto square. Since we will have similiar transits regarding the "feeling" planets.
We'll compare notes! quote: ...sitting in my 3rd house and Pluto sits in my 1st house
How does Pluto in the 1st feel like? Mr 23 has his ASC at about 3 deg Cap. With Pluto going back and forth around this area, I don't know what to say. I haven't noticed any visible changes in him except to say that he has had to do some heavy stuff, like sitting a life-changing final exam for his career and another one in a few weeks time. quote: "Yes the IC aspect is very familiar indeed! I've noticed that I have my Sun on someone's IC and they are a very open person but I think they might be exceptionally open to me about things probably because of the sense of comfort. Likewise, with his Moon on your IC." So, the IC person would be open and receptive, I guess? Well, I always feel those IC-conjunctions very strongly, even if it is "only" Mercury (but then Mercury rules my 7th house, so it is always a biggie to me).
Yes, I think IC would be receptive and anything down there would strongly be felt... quote: to "protect" my emotional sphere, but actually quite the opposite is true.
I agree, a planet down there on the IC does not feel very attacking at all, rather intimacy is freely shared. I have my IC in Cancer so I guess I expose emotions more to these people and my chart as you know, is very emotionally controlled. There's no point in fighting opening up, just do it. Which makes me think, what if someone's Pluto was on my IC.... BTW my AC is 15 deg Aries, Jup 17 deg Aries, Chrion 23 deg Aries, none near your IC... I think your Saturn might be near my IC. My IC is 16 deg Cancer, I think your Saturn is 12 deg Cancer right? Also how would squares from a planet or point from another on your IC be taken? quote: You`re really an astonishing and talented astrologer, and on top of that you`re a kindhearted, nice, grounded and open person. Just wanted to let you know that I appreciate your input a LOT.
And that`s actually a big compliment from an arrogant and "allknowing" Sagittarius like me.
Thank you very much for your kind comments I return the compliments to you too as well, you are also very open, have tremendous amount of knowledge and are always willing to give your time to others and guide them through which shows a lot of kindness as well! quote: Lately when I was looking at some books in the bookstores I often found that I felt like those couldn`t teach me anything anymore, as if I had already left them behind regarding research and interpretation, which made me almost feel guilty (how arrogant am I?).
No, it's not arrogance, just another station of life. You are ready for the next part as you have said. I feel the opposite, I am going to purchase a whole series of astro books once Mr 23 is over his exams. I feel that I need more books to understand things, I don't feel at times that I've got the basics down (eg I still don't feel great on midpoints, harmonics, horary etc). quote: But I always have the feeling I learn a lot from talking to you
Likewise, thank you too IP: Logged |

Zala, AG, Writesomething, CPNhello It`s great to see you guys again. Yin,
hello. Are you also a Sag? I am one (with Sun, Mercury, Mars, ASC and NN in SAg) and I definitely can relate to that feeling of restlessness. Koi,
I`m sorry to hear that you have such a hard time. But I guess those times also provide the chance to develop even more self-honesty than before. Or at least I like to cling to that thought. And I am glad that LL can provide you with a place, where you can relax. IP: Logged |

23 or do you prefer to be called NA now? "Are you saying that you felt Saturn being quincunxed by t-Ura and that t-Ura was conj your Moon?" Well, I wanted to say that I definitely felt TR Uranus conjunct my MOon, even though my Moon is natally unaspected (except for a quinkunx to Saturn). But now thinking about it, maybe I also felt the quinkunx between Tr Uranus and Saturn. " I'd say any transiting aspect with Uranus would strongly be felt, including any transit between Ura and Saturn because of the "opposing" nature of Ura and Saturn." What do you think what effects coud TR Uranus squaring my Sun and Mercury have? Sun and Mercury rule 7th and 9th house and are placed in 1st house, just having survived the transit to Pluto. "How does Pluto in the 1st feel like?" I`m not sure. But Pluto has also been conjunct my Mars, ASC, NN, Neptune, Sun and Mercury in the last years, and even though I couldn`t say for sure I felt the transit through the 1st hosue generally, I definitely felt Pluto`s presence when he touched my personal planets. Exhausting, transformative, rollercoaster.
Actually if I should describe it, at times it felt like Pluto was burning away anything that was not needed anylonger and was kinda unreal. To me it had much to do with truth and honesty, especially concerning myself (1st house I guess). It was not so much outward experiences, but something that took place inside. Also, I was having much work, and during that times I had been going through two exams, and somehow survived them and succeeded actually surprisingly well; especially the more pressure was on me, the better I was. lol I also had my first job as a teacher, and just in that role I was faced with authority. The authority of others, my own authority and I even got pushed into taking over an official leading role within the school (every little group of teachers teaching the same subject, has an official speaker or "administrator" or I don`t know how it is called, and for one of my subjects it`s me who is that; I was actually also asked to be the speaker for my second subject, but declined, as it would have been too much for me. However, I really didn´t want that speaker-job and thought I would do it some months and then the others would see I am not good enough; and well, that has been 2 years ago now. lol)#
On a more private level I also came to face with so-called friends who weren´t real friends; it taught me to look a bit more closely and not letting myself get blinded by easy words of some people, but rather observe their deeds.
" Mr 23 has his ASC at about 3 deg Cap." my Venus is on 6 Cap. "I agree, a planet down there on the IC does not feel very attacking at all, rather intimacy is freely shared." Hmm, probably it also depends on what planet. I guess, having Mars, SAturn or Pluto on the IC might feel different than Sun, Moon or Venus. "BTW my AC is 15 deg Aries, Jup 17 deg Aries," Not on my IC, but actually conjunct my Draco Sun and Mercury on 16 Aries. lol And squaring my Saturn - so sorry about that.
"My IC is 16 deg Cancer," My Saturn is 16°57 Cancer, that is really close. So tell me, how does my Saturn feel on your IC?
"Also how would squares from a planet or point from another on your IC be taken?" I don`t really know. Well, I have Venus square my IC, so a planet squaring my IC would also be either conjunct my Venus or opposing my Venus, it definitely would modify the interaction. "I return the compliments to you too as well," Thank you. "I feel the opposite, I am going to purchase a whole series of astro books" Yes, Iw ould love to do that, too. I just haven`t stumbled across the right books yet. I am craving learning more right now! But I want to read something that is substantial, profound, applicable to real life and so on. "I still don't feel great on midpoints, harmonics, horary etc)." I love midpoints. I also noticed that transits to midpoints are sometimes really astonishing.
Also, I think it might be a good way to see the different reaction two people sometimes show to each other. But quite honestly I haven`t read a book on midpoints that COMPLETELY convinced me, even though the Ruth Brummund book is pretty good. Horary is another fascinating subject to me.

Yin, only one of them is a roommate, and she's a Libra. Having been with a Sagittarian for a couple years I don't really believe it's possible for a Sag to ever lose the restlessness. I think of Sags like sparks. They get inspired and shoot into the air, and then they burn out and return to Earth.IP: Logged |
