Yes, honest about others faults yet failing to work on their own. Opinionated where it's not necessary nor makes a difference to one's life!!!IP: Logged |

HSC, thanks...the heart's ok, except for the steak sauce taste.Lara, I totally agree. If we do it to others we best to it to ourselves. But who really knows if we're working on ourselves? There's no way to read another's heart, or others in general. That's the crappy part.

so we should not judge then.where does it get us at the end of the day, apart from more negativity in our lives! Haven't we all learnt that yet about treating like with like? I'm shocked at how un evolved l can perceive life outside my window to be sometimes.. time to leave and have reflection and to avoid anymore negativity in case some of it sticks. Actually that reminds me - isn't there a saying that reads "if you roll in sh1t some of it is bound to stick"? IP: Logged |

I remember your political thread in FFA awhile back. I don't know that I see anything different in your attitude in that thread versus people who trash celebrities. quote: so we should not judge then. where does it get us at the end of the day, apart from more negativity in our lives!
How could we choose our friends as well as those we want/need to stay away from without judging? quote: Actually that reminds me - isn't there a saying that reads "if you roll in sh1t some of it is bound to stick"?
I can only think of one person off the top of my head who buys tabloids, but I can assure you that she's not affected by her reading any more than a person reading a novel. IP: Logged |

Politics IS judging AG lolIt is all about judging politicians and their policies!! That is called a DEBATE. So please don't mix the two up as they are chalk and cheese. If you see me judging someone personally on this forum by all means pull me up on it. I prefer to dig people. IP: Logged |

Well, Lara, as to the whole rolling around in sh!t thing, I have said several times that most of us are up to our elbows in it anyway. None of us smell so sweet all the time IP: Logged |

DING DING DING DING 'No-one has bothered to watch the video'. 'Have you watched the video or did you just post on the wrong thread?' True, probably more undigging than critical judgement. IP: Logged |

I know. LOL. It was my stream of consciousness moment before I went out. Positive, you know, not arguing. There is enough of that in the world. It gets boring. IP: Logged |

I think it depends on what one thinks is 'fair' or 'unfair'...I personally think it is disgusting that people are paid gross amounts of money to model and/or act (while millions are living/dying in poverty) than 'mudslinging' celebrities. It's the nature of the beast. They seem to not complain when they get good publicity but sue, complain, and assault when unflattering stories surface about them. I can barely watch movies or shows because I am severely repulsed that people(adults) strive for such an extreme form of attention and admiration. ... but I do find www.dlisted.com hilarious.

Short answer. No. Generally, I think humor becomes poor when it degenerates into mudslinging toward anything or anyone. On the beach the other day I saw some young teens making seemingly hilarious jokes about the size of another ladies @ss and the way another person was walking. I don't care how witty or genius a joke is ~ I just genuinely don't ever seem to get an emotional response from it at all, it's poor taste. My humor is warped and odd but never at the expense of someones appearance/ect...IP: Logged |

When I was younger I was really into celebrity gossip and read Oh No They Didn't religiously. I stopped because the amount of stupid comments was overwhelming and I realized that I didn't really care about celebrities at all. I am so sick about hearing about Angelina Jolie/Jen Aniston. IT'S BEEN 5 YEARS. UGH! Also I hate it when people trash celebrities/people they don't know. I always ended up defending these people which is such a waste of time lol.IP: Logged |
