** the constitution is not an easy/short read!! **
yes .. had nagging thought about that ..
wasn't taking much notice of said thought ..
never-the-less feared that might be the case ..
( written in old style english ??? .. does it get worse ?? )
maybe i can find a condensed version ..

it was obabma 'summoning' that actor to the white house ..
plus this ceo sacked on obamas 'orders' ..
and the bit in a GU thread mentioning his 'authoritarian' ways ..
that had me interested in what the president can and cannot do by law
~~~~~~~~~
btw: .. have not read the whole bbc news item .. ( re the auto industry goings on )
can't display that other news item either ( i tried .. ancient browzer failed me yet again )
Just for the record (and skipping the vast majority of other replies), I'm currently avoiding certain threads as I don't see a point in dysfunction. IMO, it's easy enough to do.
In the spirit of avoiding a fight (especially as I may never click on this one again), I won't say what my current criteria is. Just that I think these threads are more about starting drama for its own sake than anything constructive or helpful.
Only thing that keeps me coming back to this site is the astrology. I like to try to keep it strictly astrological but unfortunately every now and then, I feel like I'm in a debating/chatty mood and stray. Otherwise, you can occasionally end up in a firey debate or 9/10 times, you end up talking to yourself - LL is a great place for that LOL. In the earlier days, I used to strictly keep to astrology, I think I'll reuse this policy again. As in real life, most people are out there is screw you, if they don't, then they just p*ss you off. I treat LL like that too except I am more revealing of myself here of quirks in my personality. Another tip is never to reveal too much personal information (as in life history) and keep email address exchange to a bare minimum. This policy has worked for me as well. Not sure if anyone is listening, probably the ninth time out of ten they aren't.
Well, I disagree with you 23
Great to see you back - A few of us were wondering/worried about you! One even suggested it was an Aquarian thing to do - disappear, then turn up again!!!
"To Defy The Laws Of Tradition"
What if Christmas didn't come this year
and no one paid for Christmas cheer?
Who would cry the biggest tear,
the child or the store?
Why do brides wear virgin white?
Most do not deserve that right.
But to choose a color of their delight
would surely bring on the frowns.
To defy the laws of tradition
is a crusade only of the brave.
To defy the laws of tradition
is a crusade only of the brave.
Suppose the taxman, he comes to town,
and you don't lay your money down.
Yet Mr. Jones he killed Mr. Brown the other day.
Well I wonder, who's gonna go to hell.
