Women didn't have typically 'feminine' roles in the 1940s. As I said above, they moved into a more masculine domain. But the rise of feminism in the 1960s was less about 'being more of a woman', and more about 'activating masculine principles to energise our feminity'. Women demanded a more active role in society rather than being passive. Essentially feminism was very 'yang' in its nature. IP: Logged
