Recently I had a lunch time conversation with a co-worker which turned into a non-book club. She said the Jodi Picoult titles were everywhere but they held no appeal for her, tabloid novels was the impression she got. I have never read the Harry Potters. I must be the only person in Britain. I've just never felt the need. IP: Logged |

Of course, I'm the perfect age for Harry Potter (the first one came out when I was 10), so I've read all 7 and gone to a few Midnight releases :XI never read Twilight because I heard that it read like bad fanfiction in which the author writes themselves into it so I didn't want to bother. Hmmm, never read the Potter books. Tried once, and got bored. Saw the movies, all of them, recently. The first one was boring as hell. The second a little better. The rest were great. But I still don't know if I'll read the book. Never had a desire to read or see the Twilight stuff either. Seems kind of ho-hum. IP: Logged |
