They forgot a lot of places lol. I couldn't live in Oklahoma or Arkansas. The other places also seem too cold, though some look interesting. The rest look really boring. I think they're trying to get people out of CA and NY IP: Logged |

now portland, oregon, i could vouch for. portland maine? i only know people who couldn't wait to get out...pretty cold in winter, and summer too!!nah for me cities should either be big and complex and preferably have a long history, but the countryside is more and more attractive, forget towns altogether except for visits!! Places I would never live again:Florida Georgia Those two places do something to my Black Lilith Moon in the whole state synastry...it's like an unnatural level of loathing toward the area in general and I can't explain it (beyond just, 'I don't like it') Montana's gorgeous, too

whereas here, i've got Uranus/MC line traveling through and hasnt been too fun either. An astrologer once told me my life would be so much nicer if I moved Colorado or west of there. Brining Venus up to my 7th house cusp and Jupiter in that house. IP: Logged |

There was a site I found where you could do a synastry chart with the places. I had a thread on it in the astr2 forum. But this is the direct article: http://www.joannewickenburg.com/id76.htm She's got a list of a lot of the states and US cities. Unfortunately, nothing out of the US The astro.com feature is good too. The synastry though, if you do it, is REALLY accurate. Almost scary. Florida's Saturn square my Mars and ascendant, and our Venuses square. Most of the places I love or just enjoy, their Venus falls into my 1st, or our Venuses trine or make harmonious aspects....it's been an interesting trend. I think with Venus as my chart ruler it's important....maybe in general if your chart ruler is harmonious in aspect with the place, you might dig it. Don't know for sure. Through astro.com, I get a Sun/MC line going through in New Orleans...I did love living in that place. IP: Logged |

MVM, i didnt see anywhere in oregon on the list.....well astrology aside both georgia and florida are too humid for me! atlanta is a great city though...and the keys are fabulous! austin texas is a nice enough town and i hear billings, montana is just right, not too big, not too small, and in the middle of big sky country to boot(s). i miss the days when you could be in real country a half hour from the big apple though! i'm going to check that synastry site.. I don't like Atlanta. Though I should say they have a very good music venue there. I've seen some good live shows in Atlanta, it's got a great music scene. The Keys are nice, true. I hear they want to secede from the US lol. What part of CA are you in, Katatonic? IP: Logged |

Well, i guess we didnt really, MVM...too much anyway. That stinks nattie. I wonder what the astrologer saw that made them say that. Best of luck in your next move. Visit a few times if you can.
