~'of' a Loved One or Pet, not 'or'. lolI'm looking to gain some experience in the art of portraiture. I'm open to anyone or anything, but am really interested in children, elderly and animals. I choose the medium, size and style of the portrait and hopefully you - or they, like it. If you live in the continental U.S., I will ship the original finished portrait free of charge to you. If not, you pay shipping fees. I do ask that if you are able, you make a donation to an animal charity I have set up or to one of your own choosing. The amount you wish to contribute is entirely up to you. If this is something you might be interested in please send at least 3 high quality digital photos (between 5 & 7 pictures is preferable) and feel free to include any info you feel is relevant to the person/pet & their personality, which may help in their portrait portrayal. I prefer close-ups; head or head & shoulder shots, though I won't limit myself to those. The portrait is for one person/subject only. It will be declared a gift and shipped free of charge within the continental U.S. Those selected agree to allow me to post the finished piece on my art websites. At this point I can take on maybe 3 new portraits, as I have a few other projects going on at the moment and they are my first priority. I will not set a completion time limit, but will most likely have them completed within 6-8 weeks. I will do this on a first come first serve basis - or best quality picture(s) / lighting basis. If I have time, I may be open to doing more, all free of charge. The pictures you send will remain private. Thank you for helping me out. I think it's awesome, what you're doing. Ok, hope I didn't sound too crazy there...I just think this is an awesome thread. I'll leave it for you to decide.....I'll send the stuff and then I guess go from there ...no pressure, honestly IP: Logged |

26taurus - when I saw this thread last night I condsidered asking for Hunter's portraits but most of my hi-res pictures are on my work computer right now and I won't be there until Monday. This one here at home I only have web-ready ones. I didn't want to keep you waiting.IP: Logged |

Mel, You know I'd love to do a portrait of a fellow budding artist! I'll be waiting eagerly for the pic(s). Moon Witch, That's okay! As long as they are good digital quality and not fuzzy, I'm pretty sure I could work from them. Send any pics anytime if youre still interested, i'm not in a rush. Let me know if you have a particular one you'd like the portrait of. I like to have a few to look at to get familiar with the person's face. IP: Logged |
