Wow! YIVY This is so true! I am sooo impressed. It is true that sign language does annoy many people who don't understand it. Only when people truly understand ASL will they appreciate its beauty. It's so expressive and yes! It's like singing! Mele IP: Logged |

Ooooops! I didn't read WORDS from SIGN LANGUAGE carefully this morning as I was in a hurry to go to work. I only read it like it's an alien language. Well, it's true. Lots of people think it is and it scares them..only people who truly understand it find it so beautiful. Funny how I read it differently this morning. Now the message is clear Mele IP: Logged |

Randall!!! You brought this to the top! You haven't forgotten me!I've been reading books on early human development and ancient civilization, etc. Sign Language was the first language to communicate before the spoken & written language. Isn't this interesting? Even my dog understands sign language. She is my hearing (assistance) dog. I found her as a puppy that was abandoned, starving, ill last summer so I took her in, nursed her back to health, taught her sign language. She's now 1 year old. Her name is Shane. People are truly amazed how she responds to my command in sign language! IP: Logged |

Mele...seeing as how you 'rescued' Shane...I guarantee it is more than her understanding sign language. She and you have a soul-to-soul telepathic link ------------------
