Books are more detailed and better than movies if you ask me anyway although i'm a fan of both for the HP series

I agree!
Now an exception was "Shrek"...the book was nothing like the movies.
Some movies are based on GRAPHIC NOVELS. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Graphic_novel
