Linda pointed out that the word PARADISE contains RAPE. (And let's not forget RAID and DIE). I wonder why? I have been spiraling on this. Could it be that true paradise doesn't (can't) exist? Because each of us has in our own Minds a different idea of what paradise would be? And to create OUR version of paradise, we would have to trample the rights of others and rape and pillage the land to create the "technology" that we have come to depend upon? Not to mention the symbolic raping of the people who do not agree with our ideas of paradise! (PRIDE) America has become a paradise of sorts to some, but I imagine that the Native Americans would disagree (since it was at their expense). Of course, that is just my opinion, and just like an ONION (contained within the word OPINION), opinions have many layers! ------------------ "The ancestor to every action is a thought." LMAO Randall, what do you do? Hang out in my mind? Last week someone told me their side of FL is better than mine because they have white sandy beaches and aren't loaded with rocks. I told him he can keep it and the tourists as well and reminded him RAPE is in PARADISE for that exact reason that you ever so wisely just pointed out! Love and light, ~Auriel IP: Logged |

French version: LE PARADISLA PAIRE PERD LE PARADIS PAR DESIR. =The couple loses the Paradise by/through desire. Lexigrams do work in French! It usually makes only one sentence. So I think French is Ze language of Paradise!

Marigold I remember reading in star signs that Lexi's only worked in english, but at the time I did not believe this....I suspected that french would work as well........however, je parle francais une petite peu, et tres mal! (I think I just said that i speak very little french, and very badly/sickly ) Vraitment! (really!) (anyone who speaks fluent french...they will probably be ROFLTAO by now!!) excuse moi, mais je ne comprend pas qu'ell je dit! (I hope I said, I have no foggy idea what I'm saying!! )...as I was saying ....I thought it would work in french but i don't know enough french to prove it!! So Marigold....keep up the excellent work!! c'est magnifique!!! you will have to be my translator!! (oh poor you! hahaha) Aus ...mon ami IP: Logged |

Hmmmm... Eden... ParadiseMarigold wrote: "LA PAIRE PERD LE PARADIS PAR DESIR. =The couple loses the Paradise by/through desire." Very interesting *Paradise* did Lexi in french, and how. But perhaps it's connected to the fact that several languages share same or like words? The french version seems to symbolize what we know of the Adam and Eve story. I think Edin IS Paradise in that when we view or think of something that inspires us to think *Paradise*, we are ReMembering Eden, our *home*, where are hearts are; and all the icky words contained in it is to ReMind us why we are longing... "The couple (Adam & Eve) loses the Paradise (Eden) by/through desire (I see ire)." Ire=rage I think we are ReMembering we RAPED Eden with our DIRE PRIDE (I DIE)... but I also see in there the words DEAR, PRAISE, ARISE, and it *almost* contains *EDeN* (maybe it used to before some one changed the spelling? ) ~katii Oops! see that typo in *Edin* .. maybe that's how it used to be spelled before someone changed it? ------------------ "...it came in on the sweetest breeze... i could hear it in color..." ~me

My opinion (and that's all it is) is that all languages descended from original English (including current English). As such, Lexigrams may work to a small degree in other languages due to a chance similarity of words, but the druids only protect English (which contains all the many secrets placed there intentionally). ------------------ "The ancestor to every action is a thought."
