WOW, you truely have a gift for lexigrams! I also got "lost colony" which describes the church well, since those in the church are, in a sense, cut off from society. ChandraIP: Logged |

That was great .... I walked by the scientology store the other day during our street festival ... and they had men and women standing outside handing out info to the passerby's on the street. Oooo ... I just shivered and walked on. Sometimes my curious nature drives me crazy When I was a teenager, maybe 15, my boyfriend and I would go to the park at night for *walks* .... and sometimes we would come across a coven .... I did not know that that was all it was because they were so mysterious about it. So, I would make my boyfriend go to the park so we could spy on them Well, I always liked to think of myself as the female james bond. That is how I feel about scientology. It is not so much an interest in their ideas as it is pure pitifull curiousity. sigh. But, I trust YIVY's lexi's ... so I will stay away. IP: Logged |

Chandra~how cute! you just addressed YIVY as LEXI I have always kinda thought LEXI would be a great nic for YIVY YIVY... did you know the word Lexigram equals a 24/6? Cool. Also, LEXI is a 14/5 ... 14 *Movement ~ Challenge* <~~~ ANGEL CALLS - CHANGES HEAL - CHANGE HEALS> The first words Linda uses to describe 14 are "Magnetic communication the the public through writing..." !! YIVY, I just noticed as Princess pointed out that I called you LEXI. Sorry. I feel so silly. It's strange, I have to catch myself when I type in your name because I want to call you LEXI. I think I knew someone called LEXI in the past and I'm trying to remember where, but I do identify you with the name LEXI, so, I'm going to have to double check my writing! Chandra IP: Logged |

Many a kind thanks, Yivy, for your insight on Scientology. I myself explored the inner nuances of this group to determine just what they believe, what they would like to achieve, and so forth. Let me just comment that never have I been in the company of such dry characters! Perhaps its just the local chapter...? I believe, after familiarizing myself with the basic ideas and motivations of this group-after reading Dianetics, paying 70 dollars to take a "personal effiency" course which I did not attend, and experiencing at least ten pieces of promotional mail from the local group a week, I believe that the thing is quite like a pseudo new age pyramid scheme(scam). Because of my "high scores" on their personality test, I was courted very heavily, and sometimes get handwritten notes from members, coaxing me in. Despite all this, I believe that L. Ron Hubbard was a man not entirely devoid of Love, as well as insight into humanity's grand future. For this reason I felt obliged to kick this thing around a bit and see what we got here. What we have is people without imaginations. People who conform, instead of doing their own things. I am always kind and respectful to these people, however, for they see in me a person with the same big capacity as themselves- but with my own, unique, inspiring vision, and ideals to uphold. So be kind to those wacky scientologists, and if you have any extra backbone, could'ja lend 'em some? They're perilously low on it themselves. IP: Logged |

Karis~I have never been able to understand the need some people seem to have for someone to tell them how to Live But, apparently they do, and I can accept that while I wish the best for them... it's their choice afterall and it's not for me to judge... Sometimes I think it is somekind of Karmic thing because that's the only way I can rationalize it in my mind YIVY~ Could you, if/when you are feeling up to it, LEXI Hubbard's name? I did some searching and found the *L* stands for *La Fayette* ...so... LA FAYETTE RON HUBBARD ... should be interesting ~princess IP: Logged |

Karis..I think a religion that doesn't let one learn to think for themselves need to be looked into before joining. So you are right.Princess...I'll see what 'we' can come up with. You give it a shot too, and maybe between us we will discover some truth!!! ------------------

That was a great lexi YIVY (of course). Hubbard should have stuck with science fiction, he was a master of the genre. I made the mistake several months ago of opening an e-mail from them (they used a subject line that had no hint of what was actually in the message), Since then I have been getting several e-mails from them every week and despite several requests for them to stop, the do not. I am considering legal action.------------------ I have loved,I love,I will love. Grey IP: Logged |

I am reading a book called "journey of your soul" by Sheppard Hoodwin .... it is the teachings of Micheal.Anyway, he explains that each soul must undertake a certain number of Monads ... which are like "lessons". One of the monads is a soul serving, honorabley, a corrupt leader. He goes on to say that many of those who served Hitler were performing this monad. The reason, Micheal explained, for doing this is it teaches the soul how to discern proper cause and effectiveness ... So this reminded me of scientology and other religions/cuilts. The monads are not about Karma. But they do use reversals ... so for instance two souls may wish to complete the teacher/student monad. In one incarnatin, soul A will be the teacher and soul B the student. In another incarnation they will switch roles. Now, after two lifetimes, they have completed that monad and usually do not engage in it again with one another. IP: Logged |

Actually, I was in CA at the boys' house when I wrote that I think the druids like it here better, and I can't say as I blame them! There are trees, flowers (the agapantha's are blooming! YUM!)... and a beautiful temp of 88 degrees! (not 115) I am going to go look at apartments here with Christian today! ~princess IP: Logged |
