I've known a few people who were allergic to perfumes, etc. Is your mom allergic to basically chemical smells? Is she sure that rose oil would bother her? Does she have breathing problems with aromas, or is it a sinus type of deal? If you are so inclined, if you have space to plant a few rose bushes, they are wonderfully rewarding...I can say this because I have almost ten They're not hard to grow, but pruning them can be a little tricky, so ya might want to read up on that aspect of things. Nothing beats pressing your face into a full rose in bloom, it always makes the gloomies go away for me! It always reminds me of the line from Gooberz, what Linda was told to do when she was cranky, if I remember correctly: "...go smell a rose!" IP: Logged
